Overview
Liv Breads is hiring a part-time, in-house, Social Media Manager. The person we are looking for must be able to create engaging food-based content and have experience working with business owners to determine priorities and timelines, and understand trends to direct and create engaging content appropriate for our customer base. This person must have prior experience with food styling and an understanding how to make food look delicious, ensuring our Instagram account matches our brand and tone.

The content creator will work closely with the owners to develop ideas and manage priorities; create a posting calendar; schedule, stage and execute shoots; manage assets, and most importantly have exciting ideas and a vision for working independently to showcase our brand.

Note: Please do not contact us if you are a marketing firm. We are not looking to outsource our social media - this is strictly an in-house, part-time position that requires an on-site employee.

This position also has the potential to add hours beyond part-time for someone with a strong marketing background and the ability to take on other marketing tasks within the business.

Responsibilities, Required:

  • Create engaging content across Instagram (and Facebook) and implement a TikTok account.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Have a process for managing posting schedules, with an eye on holidays and new products.
  • Have a process in place with appropriate tools to create visually appealing photos, and reels; graphic design experience and added plus.
  • Collaborate with front of house and back of house department Managers to take ideas from vision to implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Develop a budget and source and work with external vendors as needed.

Responsibilities, Preferred:

  • Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content creation.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and social listening tools to measure success.
  • Look for opportunities to engage with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility, preferred.
  • Inform other marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management; restaurants or other food-based business experience is required.
  • Food styling experience (food-based photography and/or videography skills a plus).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, and interest in working with in a fast-based environment.
  • Ability for a flexible schedule, understanding that as bakery hours vary in order to capture the content needed.
  • A lover of great food and coffee!

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
