GolfRoots is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in the golf industry — and we're just getting started. Our mission is simple: make golf accessible to everyone through affordable pre-owned clubs and sets. Social media isn't a marketing checkbox for us, it's the engine. We've built 350k+ followers with almost no paid backing — just great content and a community that genuinely cares about the brand.

Now we're ready to pour fuel on it. We're looking for someone who sees what we've built and immediately starts thinking about what's possible. If you're hungry to own a channel, move fast, and help reshape how the world sees golf, this is your seat.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Production

  • Film, edit, and appear in short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) alongside team members — this is the core of the role
  • Develop content across all formats and post types (educational, storytelling, CTAs, quote cards) by identifying recurring audience themes and questions
  • Design on-brand graphics and visuals using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

Publishing & Platform Management

  • Own the weekly content calendar and publish across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook using platform-native best practices (IG Collabs, TikTok Quote Replies, LinkedIn carousels, Manychat, etc.)
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes, emerging tools, and cultural shifts that impact reach and visibility

Community & Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and customer inquiries — and actively create engagement moments (quote replies, collabs, etc.) that extend organic reach
  • Build relationships with influencers, partner brands, and ambassadors to drive collaborations and audience growth

Strategy & Analytics

  • Develop and execute an organic social strategy with clear goals around followers, video views, and website traffic
  • Track performance metrics and conduct regular competitor research to keep our content approach sharp
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency across social, paid, SEO, and other brand channels

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Socially native — you live on these platforms, instinctively know what makes content cut through, and are fluent in the latest tools (IG Collabs, TikTok Duets, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
  • Strong hands-on production skills: you can film, edit, and publish short-form content that performs, not just looks good
  • Experience developing and executing content strategies with measurable results around engagement, reach, and growth
  • A natural communicator — comfortable on camera, responsive with audiences, and easy to collaborate with internally
  • Proven ability to thrive in an on-site, team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
