SLE is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven

Social Media & Public Relations Lead

to join our dynamic Communications team. This role will oversee the development and execution of integrated social media and public relations strategies for both SLE and our valued clients. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller and relationship-builder who understands how to elevate brand visibility, shape public perception, and drive engagement across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies that align with SLE’s brand vision, client goals, and overall marketing objectives.
  • Own content planning and creation across all social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Create, edit, and manage social media calendars, captions, short-form video content, and platform-specific storytelling.
  • Produce engaging photo and video content, including Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes footage, and event coverage.
  • Attend events to capture real-time content and execute live social media coverage that drives engagement and visibility.
  • Grow and nurture SLE’s online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations.
  • Develop influencer outreach strategies and cultivate organic relationships with creators to expand audience reach and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep content timely, relevant, and competitive.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, conversions, and sentiment.
  • Provide clear, data-driven reports with insights and recommendations to continuously optimize performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Graphic Design, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
  • Support public relations initiatives by amplifying media coverage across social platforms and integrating press wins into content strategy.
  • Assist in event promotion and execution, ensuring strong digital visibility before, during, and after each event.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience in social media management).
  • 1–3 years of experience managing brand social media accounts with demonstrated audience growth and engagement success.
  • Strong content creation skills, including writing compelling social captions, scripting short-form video, and adapting messaging for multiple platforms.
  • On-camera confidence and comfort capturing and producing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, live coverage).
  • Proficiency in content creation and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut (or similar video editing platforms), and mobile-first editing tools.
  • Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Ability to interpret analytics (reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, conversions) and translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage content calendars, deadlines, and multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail with a creative eye for visuals, branding, and storytelling.
  • Passion for the event, entertainment, and lifestyle industries, with a pulse on cultural trends and influencer marketing.
