SUMMARY: The Specialist, Paid Social is responsible for the in-platform execution of strategic paid social media campaigns across AXM clients, aimed at achieving client goals and increasing engagement across all relevant platforms. This individual will contribute to the overall paid social campaigns by making tactical recommendations for in-platform opportunities and delivering with best-in-class execution, from campaign setup and budget management to optimization and reporting. This role partners closely with internal media, social, investment, analytics, and account teams, as well as client stakeholders and external partners (including creative and influencer agencies), to develop and manage paid social campaigns.
Strategic Support ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes in-platform buys in adherence with campaign strategy and target audience
- Recommends in-platform opportunities to help drive strategic alignment
- Questions the status quo and brings forth ideas to best align in-platform campaigns with overall strategic approach
- Participates in plan presentations to internal teams and clients
Campaign Management
- Independently executes in-platform campaign setup, launch, and campaign monitoring with minimal errors across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube and other emerging channels
- Maintains diligent QA standards across campaign setup, tracking, naming conventions, and budget management.
- Sets up 1p Brand Lift Studies andA/B tests as developed, in conjunction with social team leadership and analytics team
- Participates in internal and external status calls, as needed
Budget Oversight
- Stewards campaigns in accordance with approved paid social budget; is responsible for ensuring that campaigns spend in full, proactively identifying pacing risks and recommends reallocations to maximize efficiency and ensure campaigns do not exceed approved budget
- Regularly reports on budget performance and recommend spend adjustments based on campaign success
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Pulls and reviews pacing reports in detail, on a regularly agreed upon cadence
- Identifies areas that are over/under performing and makes recommendations for optimizations, in collaboration with analytics team.
- Contributes to client facing reporting presentations and calls
Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with internal Media, Investment and Analytics teams to ensure campaign alignment as well as with client account and creative teams to ensure alignment in messaging and creative execution
- Coordinate with external agencies, (including but not limited to creative, organic, and influencer agencies) and vendors when needed for campaign execution
Trend Monitoring & Innovation
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing and advertising
- Explore new and emerging social media platforms and understand available advertising opportunities
- Stay on top of the latest product updates and changes across key platforms
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of direct, hands-on in-platform activation experience managing paid social campaigns with measurable performance
- Excellent knowledge of Paid Social Media platforms, capabilities and offerings, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit
- Ability to independently work in-platform, with in-platform activation experience with campaign set up and campaign management
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns across platforms with minimal errors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of clients and delivering clear, concise campaign updates in status calls
- Ability to manage expectations and priorities, both internally with teams and externally with clients
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong experience working within Google Workspace & Tools and Microsoft Suite
- Relevant industry certifications
- A passion for social media
