About the Role
As the Regional Marketing Team Lead and Market Manager, this role provides strategic leadership and direction across the regional marketing team, guiding regional vertical marketing leaders in the execution of cross-disciplinary brand activation initiatives, and ensuring alignment across channel partners, global marketing colleagues, and the regional leadership organization. They will drive user and market demand across the regional market for HARMAN Professional Solutions’ portfolio of audio, video and controls and lighting products. These products utilize a wide set of B2B and B2C go-to-market channels and strategies, and as such the successful candidate will have demonstrated success across a broad range of marketing disciplines. In particular, this position will be responsible for creating and executing creative sales enablement, trade, paid media, experiential events and customer marketing programs that deliver impactful and measurable results. This leader drives the resolution of complex business challenges in support of market brand growth and key vertical financial targets, and ensures alignment with overarching organizational priorities and strategies. This role will report to the Executive Director Marketing, Professional Solutions.
This role will have three direct reports overseeing the market verticals of Integration, Performance Audio, Retail Audio, and Professional Lighting, as well as regional marketing operations and budget management.
What You Will Do
Drive Enterprise Adoption - Our audio, video, and lighting solutions are deployed in the world’s most iconic stadiums, arenas, and destinations. In this role, you will own the regional marketing vision and execution that accelerates adoption of HARMAN Professional Solutions and elevates our presence across key verticals.
- Lead regional adoption of group marketing strategies and assets, ensuring they are effectively localized, activated, and scaled for market impact.
- Set direction for the development and deployment of regional sales enablement—solution guides, application briefs, case studies, and pitch decks—in partnership with customers and the distribution ecosystem.
- Shape the regional approach to advertising, PR, and experiential marketing across B2B trade media, digital channels, trade shows, roadshows, and customer experience venues.
- Establish and evolve B2B channel partner enablement, training, and co‑op marketing programs to strengthen regional execution.
Create Consumer Excitement - Our iconic brands—including JBL Professional and AKG—are trusted by the world’s most influential creators and recognized with multiple technical Grammy® Awards. You will steward these brand legacies while expanding relevance with emerging creator segments and evolving market dynamics.
- Define the regional strategy for engaging shoppers through retail, e‑commerce, and distribution partners using compelling storytelling, digital experiences, merchandising, and promotional programs.
- Ensure regional creative execution reflects cultural relevance while maintaining alignment with global brand standards.
- Influence retail presence and performance through close partnership with sales, driving expanded assortments, merchandising impact, and brand preference.
- Lead regional product launch and sustaining strategies that build awareness, excitement, and measurable sell‑through.
- Partner with group marketing teams to integrate digital, social, and influencer marketing into cohesive regional programs.
Build a World‑Class Marketing Operation - You will architect and lead a high‑performing regional marketing organization that delivers consistent, measurable results across markets.
- Own the regional marketing strategy, translating global priorities into clear plans, investments, and execution.
- Provide leadership across go‑to‑market and demand creation efforts spanning brand, PR, advertising, digital, e‑commerce, web, content, events, and promotions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with channel, business development, and AVL leadership to support new product introductions and strengthen the regional install ecosystem—including system integrators, architects, consultants, and key influencers.
- Set expectations and governance for distributor and reseller marketing, driving alignment with co‑op agreements, brand standards, and performance objectives.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with key partners, retailers, distributors, and integrators to unlock regional growth opportunities.
- Partner closely with centralized marketing teams (Brand Services, Insights, Corporate Communications, Digital Commerce) to maximize scale, consistency, and impact.
Content Leadership - You will set the standard for storytelling and content excellence across the region, ensuring clarity, consistency, and business impact.
- Provide regional oversight and direction for the development of globally aligned, regionally executed communication materials.
- Champion high‑quality content that strengthens brand positioning and advances commercial objectives.
- Define partnership frameworks and criteria, guiding regional execution of high‑impact collaborations.
- Ensure partnerships reflect brand values, cultural relevance, and long‑term growth priorities.
Leadership & Strategy - You will operate as a regional leader, shaping direction while delivering results through influence and collaboration.
- Lead through your team, setting clear direction, expectations, and accountability.
- Drive financial performance and operational excellence through strong commercial acumen and industry insight.
- Navigate complex business challenges with sound judgment, strategic thinking, and decisive leadership.
- Influence and collaborate with senior leaders across functions to maximize brand activation across content, culture, partnerships, and social platforms.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in brand activation, marketing, or related disciplines, including proven experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams at a director level or above.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead through subordinate managers and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Deep expertise in developing global frameworks for integrated marketing, social media, partnerships, and content creation.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale brand campaigns and partnerships with a focus on measurable results and financial performance.
- In-depth understanding of digital content strategy, social media platforms, and asset management tools.
- Strong commercial acumen and broad industry knowledge, with the ability to apply insights to drive operational and financial outcomes.
- Ability to resolve highly complex business challenges and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans.
- International experience and a global mindset are highly desirable for EMEA applicants.
- Experience in the Professional Tour Audio, Professional Lighting, or Installed Audio, Video and Control markets is highly desirable.
- Experience in Performance Marketing, Ecomm, or Professional Audio Retail Marketing is highly desirable.

Pay Transparency
$ 117,000 - $ 171,600
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
