We’re looking for curious, motivated college juniors, seniors, or recent grads eager to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of travel, tourism, and hospitality marketing. Join us this summer in our Austin office as a Public Relations Intern for our Summer Internship Program!

Our interns are brought in as members of the team, learning valuable public relations and communications skills in a hands-on way that will set them up for success in their future careers. We are located downtown, right in the heart of Austin.

Day-to-day duties will include media monitoring, drafting press materials, conducting research and helping coordinate media events. You'll be actively contributing to PR campaigns, interacting with media outlets, and playing a hands-on role in shaping our projects.

What we are looking for in an intern

Curious, organized and able to manage various projects, a strong writer who is passionate about reading the news and keeping their finger on the pulse when it comes to travel trends. Studying or recent graduate in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (but a strong interest in PR is just as important). Previous internship or relevant experience in PR, media, marketing, or events is a plus.

Program Details:

As an Intern at MMGY Global, you will receive hands-on work experience and get to work directly with our clients. You will be assigned a supervisor to foster your professional development and guide you throughout the program. MMGY Global’s internships will run from June 8, 2026, through August 6, 2026. You will work Monday - Thursday in the office, up to 32 hours per week. This is a paid internship at $16 per hour.
