About the job
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is the world's largest nonprofit trade association for professional photographers. For more than 150 years, they've championed the power, craft, and integrity of real photography. With the launch of PhotoVision, they have evolved into something new: a hybrid organization - part trade association, part modern media company - producing the world's longest-running photographic magazine, the industry's biggest annual event, and a digital learning and media platform. They're building the leading voice, platform, and growth engine for professional photography in a world that desperately needs what is real. Sound like a pivotal moment for the entire worldwide photographic industry? It is. And we're looking for a leader who can help shape the next era.
This is a rare opportunity to help lead a legacy organization into its next era - to build a modern media platform, grow a national creative community, and champion the future of real photography.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Director of MarketingMedia Strategy will lead the marketing team's strategic direction, data-driven insights, audience growth, brand positioning, and revenue-driving marketing initiatives across the organization. This is not a traditional association marketing role. This is a growth architect role - responsible for expanding product reach, driving membership acquisition, elevating brand, and building a modern media ecosystem that serves photographers, partners, and the industry at large. You will join the senior leadership team, collaborating closely with the CEO and senior staff to drive organizational strategy, culture, and impact. If you thrive in environments where you can build, innovate, and lead with both courage and humility, this is your moment.
