Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Account Manager to join our team in Los Angeles to continue growing our existing relationship with our largest paid media client. The Associate Account Manager is a multi-faceted role that reports to the Associate Account Director. If you’re a meticulous task manager, a natural-born leader, obsessive about creating incredible work, and adept at forming and strengthening bonds with personalities of all stripes and sorts, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Managing, maintaining, and growing the relationship with the client and key stakeholders
- Directing and having a positive impact on projects, and teams by providing guidance, direction, and a vision to follow
- Acting as the glue that holds internal teams together, both delegating work when necessary while always being a team player, and helping to define brand vision alongside creative, strategy, etc.
- Managing projects and working closely with team to adhere to deadlines
- Proactively seeking opportunities to grow account — e.g. partnerships, vendor opportunities, influencers, creative work etc.
- Managing ongoing evergreen needs
- Being in the loop with social trends, new platforms and functionalities, competitors, memes/internet culture, etc.
- Overseeing and managing the workload / deliverables expected of the paid media team. Duties include:
- Reviewing all media plan components prior to client send to ensure we are delivering on the clients ask in a clear and conscious manner that isn’t too in the weeds (and providing constructive feedback / poking holes with the team when it is not)
- Working with paid media team member(s) to troubleshoot new and unforeseen issues that come up during planning / execution and reporting stages of campaigns
- Conducting oneself as a professional role model/mentor to the team
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 year’s experience in account management and/or project management or paid media, preferably with sports/music/entertainment brands
- Experience implementing social media, digital, traditional and integrated marketing campaigns
- Detail focused with strong communication skills: persuasive, strategic, proactive, diplomatic
- A demonstrated passion for and superb understanding of the paid media landscape
- You can own a room: You aren’t afraid to break the ice on a Zoom; you ask the questions everyone is thinking to get your team the answers they need, you aren’t afraid to take charge & delegate so everyone is always clear on their next steps & needs.
- Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
- Ability to multitask and manage time across multiple teams & accounts
- Comfort running small/medium projects with minimal oversight
- Junior to Mid-level client-facing experience
- Experience managing paid media accounts, social and/or programmatic expertise are a plus
- Interested or experience in the entertainment or paid media space
- Experience working with influencers
- General proficiency and understanding of paid media analytics & workflows
Base salary: $70,304, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
