Job Summary:
We are a premier plastic surgery practice based in Tribeca, NY, dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and luxury-level care. We are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media Content Creator & Specialist to capture, develop, and manage content that elevates and brings our brand to life online. This person will be responsible for strategizing and executing a compelling digital presence while capturing in-office content including behind-the-scenes footage, surgeon highlights, before-and-afters, and patient testimonials.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid storyteller and strategist—someone who is hands-on with content creation but also driven by analytics and trends. The candidate is flexible, highly organized, visually driven, and comfortable working in a medical and operating room setting with high standards of professionalism and discretion. You’ll work closely with our team 2 days per week on-site to ensure real-time, high-quality content that reflects the precision and aesthetic of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:Content Creation
● Capture, design, and edit original photo and video content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, and before-and-after imagery
● Brainstorm and pitch fresh content ideas based on trends, aesthetic medicine topics, and seasonal moments
● Collaborate with surgeons, staff, and marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand tone and messaging
● Shoot and edit short-form video content regularly while maintaining a consistent aesthetic
● Create and write engaging captions with platform-optimized hashtags and CTAs
Strategy & Execution
● Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar
● Implement content strategies that align with larger marketing and brand goals
● Use analytics to track engagement, performance, and audience growth, adjusting strategies as needed
● Stay on top of evolving platform features and trends to keep content fresh and effective
Community Engagement
● Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and tagged content to foster engagement and trust
● Cultivate an authentic online community by maintaining an approachable, brand-aligned voice
● Manage any sensitive comments or patient interactions with discretion and professionalism
● Assist in influencer and partner collaborations where relevant
Qualifications:
● 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation
● Strong photography and video editing skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or InShot
● Excellent writing and communication skills
● Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and current platform trends and algorithms
● Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines
● Professionalism and discretion in a clinical, high-profile environment
● Availability to be on-site in Tribeca 2 days per week
Preferred:
● Experience in the beauty, aesthetics, wellness, or medical space
● Knowledge of social scheduling tools, and performance tracking software
● Familiarity with paid social ad campaigns and basic influencer marketing
● Comfort filming and interacting with clients and staff in real time
