A little bit about our team: As part of the Warner Music Group, Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) is a worldwide distribution solution and marketing service organization that is deeply committed to the independent artist and label community. ADA gives independent artists, labels and creators access to a bespoke global distribution network and a dedicated, passionate team of experts that provide a panoramic suite of services that includes sales/marketing, digital marketing and fan acquisition solutions, radio promotion, music/sync licensing and much more.

Here you’ll get to:* Develop and implement global trade approaches to improve streaming, sales, and overall consumption for ADA’s US repertoire across global markets.

  • Build and manage positive relationships with Affiliate Commerce teams at ADA/WMG and international DSP partners. Identify and drive opportunities across editorial, marketing, and partnership initiatives.
  • Partner with ADA/WMG affiliates to ensure effective rollout of US repertoire, aligning with local market priorities and identifying market-specific growth opportunities.
  • Track and analyze consumption patterns, market dynamics and trends to inform international commerce strategies, optimize global results and identify export and import opportunities.
  • Advise label partners and internal collaborators on streaming and marketing strategies as well as platform guidelines to apply data-driven principles that optimize campaigns.
  • Communicate high level strategic success and overall commercial marketing results to both company and outside partners for key US rep releases on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Label Management, Marketing, Affiliates, Commerce) to shape and deliver globally informed, commercially optimized release strategies, and operationalize processes for evaluating and sharing data trends globally.
  • Partner with artists, managers, and labels to localize campaigns, build cultural relevance, and grow audiences outside the US.
  • Identify and translate emerging platforms, regional trends, competitor moves, cultural shifts and new formats to feed into actionable international strategies that drive consumption growth, audience development and monetization.
  • Develop and manage international campaign budgets and plans for US Top Tier releases in partnership with Label Management and Digital team including content creation, advertising, influencer marketing press, radio.
  • Build and manage new and ongoing relationships with online partners, third-party agencies, content creators, and more to support campaign amplification across priority markets.
  • Monitor campaigns in real time, optimize based on performance, and deliver post-mortem analyses to measure impact and inform future planning.
  • Provide mentorship, frameworks, and guidelines for global campaign execution and commercial strategy.
  • Communicate market insights, performance data, and campaign findings back to US labels and partners. Educate internal label collaborators or artists/managers on international approaches, risks, and opportunity.
  • Act as a central liaison between ADA's US collaborators and ADA/WMG international affiliates.
  • Serve as a thought leader within ADA, staying ahead of global industry trends and identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Optimize and develop processes and services to increase visibility and revenue for ADA US partners

About you:* You are a passionate music fan with in- depth knowledge of global markets.

  • You have a strong background in global marketing, advertising and digital strategy with duties at previous employers that include driving global marketing services campaigns.
  • You have your finger on the pulse of current social media and pop culture trends and values, especially amongst Gen Z consumers.
  • You have relationships with third party marketing, promotion and creative agencies.
  • You are highly organized with a strong emphasis on multi-tasking, showing proficiency in taking a project from inception to execution.
  • You maintain a track record of formulating creative ideas and solutions, with the ability to influence others with these ideas
  • Possessing well-developed commercial data insights abilities and understanding of the marketing & digital landscape.
  • You are passionate about and demonstrate a desire to continue to learn, grow and adapt with the rapidly changing industry.
  • You will be working across many different territories, it will be important for you to be flexible, dynamic and diplomatic so you can effectively adapt to business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills are essential as you build relationships with internal and external collaborators

We’d love it if you also had:* 5+ years of direct experience in International Marketing/Digital Marketing/Commerce)

  • A broad understanding and appreciation of music genres as well as awareness of trending other entertainment industry sectors – film, TV, tech, gaming, AI, Web 3, etc.
  • Knowledge of more languages would be a big plus.

We value in-office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships. #LI-Onsite Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000 Annually Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
