Overview

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Social Media Community Manager to lead both the engagement and performance dimensions of our social media ecosystem. This role is responsible for building, nurturing, and scaling our online communities while driving measurable growth, traffic, and conversion across organic and paid social channels.

The Social Media Community Manager will serve as a bridge between brand voice and business outcomes. This individual will cultivate meaningful audience relationships, optimize content and paid media performance, and translate social activity into actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines community-building expertise, strategic thinking, and analytical rigor. They are culturally fluent, platform-savvy, and highly comfortable working with performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Community Management and Engagement

Build, grow, and manage our online communities across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

Act as a primary voice of the brand by engaging with followers, responding to comments and direct messages, and fostering constructive, positive dialogue.

Identify opportunities to initiate conversations, cultivate loyal advocates, and deepen trust with collectors, consignors, and new audiences.

Monitor community sentiment, proactively flag potential risks, and support reputation management in partnership with PR and leadership.

Maintain awareness of cultural trends, platform updates, and evolving audience behaviors to ensure continued relevance and credibility.

Content and Editorial Collaboration

Partner closely with Social Media Content Managers to align content with strategic objectives, performance insights, and platform best practices.

Contribute to and help manage the social editorial calendar.

Translate community feedback and performance data into clear creative recommendations.

Collaborate with Consignment Directors and internal subject matter experts to surface compelling stories and category-specific opportunities.

Social Media Growth, Analytics, and Reporting

Own end-to-end social media measurement across organic and paid channels.

Track and analyze key performance indicators, including follower growth, engagement, reach, traffic, and conversion.

Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Meltwater, Klear, native platform analytics, and web analytics platforms.

Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.

Establish performance benchmarks and baselines across platforms, content formats, and campaigns.

Paid Social Strategy and Optimization

Collaborate with the paid social team to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms.

Support budget pacing, performance analysis, and ROI measurement.

Design and implement testing frameworks, including A/B testing, creative iteration, and audience segmentation.

Identify and scale high-performing content, formats, creators, and campaigns.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Work closely with Creative, Editorial, Brand, PR, Marketing, and Influencer teams to ensure alignment of objectives and performance expectations.

Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Standardize and communicate how social performance is measured and reported across the organization.

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in social media management, community management, growth marketing, analytics, or paid social.

Demonstrated success managing and scaling social communities.

Hands-on experience planning and optimizing paid social campaigns.

Strong analytical skills with experience building reports and dashboards.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

This role requires a candidate who can balance brand stewardship with performance accountability, and who is comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
