Location: Remote

Start Date: Hybrid (March–May)

Schedule: 10–15 hours per week (flexible) Compensation: Hourly (based on experience) $10- $12 an hour

As search behavior evolves (AI search, generative engines, answer-based results), we are investing early in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to ensure our brand is discoverable across traditional search and AI-powered platforms.

Role Overview

We are hiring an E-Commerce Analytics, AEO & Growth Intern to support performance analytics, search visibility strategy, and website optimization.

This is not just a reporting role. This person will help us think ahead — optimizing for how customers find and interact with brands in both traditional search engines and generative AI platforms.

Ideal for someone studying data analytics, marketing analytics, business, or digital strategy who wants hands-on experience inside a scaling DTC company.

Responsibilities1️ Shopify & Revenue Analysis

  • Pull and analyze weekly Shopify reports
  • Monitor AOV, conversion rate, revenue per session
  • Track subscription performance (Recharge)
  • Assist with product performance and cohort analysis

2️ Marketing & Growth Analytics

  • Review UTM structure and campaign tracking consistency
  • Analyze paid media performance (ROAS, CPA, blended CAC)
  • Track influencer and affiliate performance
  • Assist with Klaviyo email performance reporting
  • Identify trends and growth opportunities across channels

3️ AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Support

  • Research how customers are asking questions related to our product category
  • Identify FAQ gaps and answer-based content opportunities
  • Help structure website content to better answer direct search queries
  • Assist in optimizing blog, FAQ, and product pages for featured snippets
  • Support structured content formatting for answer-based search

4️ GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Support

  • Research how brands in our space are appearing in AI-driven search results
  • Help audit website content to ensure clarity, authority, and structured information
  • Assist in developing content briefs aligned with AI discoverability
  • Analyze brand mentions across AI and emerging search platforms
  • Support documentation of evolving search trends

5️ Website Optimization & Maintenance Support

  • Collaborate with website maintenance team on performance reporting
  • Analyze conversion funnels and drop-off points
  • Support product page optimization (data-backed recommendations)
  • Assist with keyword mapping and content updates
  • Identify areas to improve site clarity, structure, and UX from a data perspective

6️ Dashboard & Reporting

  • Maintain weekly performance spreadsheets
  • Assist in preparing executive-level summaries
  • Analyze our COO’s Power BI Dashboards monthly
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Analytical mindset with curiosity
  • Basic understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV)
  • Interest in AI search trends and emerging digital behavior
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable researching and synthesizing information

Bonus if:

  • Shopify familiarity
  • Power BI experience
  • SEO coursework or digital marketing background

Job Type: Internship

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
