Baker Publishing Group is accepting applications for a 10-week, 20 hours/week intern for Bethany House Publishers, Revell, and Haven. Bethany House seeks to uplift readers' families, faith, and free time with our library of industry-leading Christian fiction. Revell publishes inspiring novels from a Christian perspective that affirm our faith, celebrate beauty in the world, and move us to love more deeply. Haven shares cleanwholesome stories to come home to- books that offer warmth, connection, and a welcoming escape from everyday life.
The Marketing department develops and implements creative marketing campaigns including advertising, promotion, and social media. Marketers collaborate with authors, librarians, and booksellers to understand what readers are looking for and to champion the books and writers they love.
The internship will focus on the fiction marketing aspects of publishing while providing exposure to editorial, design, production, and sales as well.

- Your observations on how Bookstagram, BookTok, BookTube, and/or influencers have impacted book trends and book buying.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Fiction Marketing Managers with campaign strategy and execution and copywriting
- Attend imprint meetings, author calls, and brainstorming sessions
- Create social videos, graphics, photography, and additional content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Perform market and category research
- Perform influencer research, outreach, and influencer program support
- Send advanced reading copies and swag packages to influencers and booksellers
- Attend meetings such as all-staff meeting, team meetings, pub board meeting, titling meetings, cover direction meetings, ad planning meetings, and more
- Participate in Evangelical Christian Publishing Association's multiweek webinar series covering all aspects of publishing
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the fiction marketing team
Qualifications
- Must be ready to begin on or before June 2026
- A passion for fiction publishing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- Proficiency or ability to learn marketing tools like Asana, Canva, Sprout Social, and more
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and the ability to work well with others
- Preference will be given to those able to work at least one day a week at the office in Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program
- Must be over the age of 18
Compensation and Benefits
This is a paid internship. Academic credit can be provided by an intern's accredited institution, if desired.
