Social Media Engagement Manager

Overview
Second Chance Plants is seeking a Seasonal/Contract Social Media Engagement Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing all social media communications from followers and customers- including messenger management and public-facing comments.

Duties

• Manage and respond to all social media messages and inquiries, including messages from fans and customers
• Manage and respond to all social media comments and advertising commentary
• Create and market weekly Facebook promotional events for 12 store locations
• Create some content for Facebook and Instagram as well as some email marketing.
• Locate and secure partnerships with local influencers to promote Second Chance Plants products and promotions.
• Work with Micro Influencers on content creation to support the brand.

Experience

• Proven experience in social media marketing or digital marketing roles with a focus on community engagement.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and canva.
• Experience in public relations activities including influencer outreach and reputation management.
• Ability to create compelling multimedia content including photography and video editing using tools like Adobe Premiere or similar software.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to foster community growth through authentic interactions.
• Strong proofreading skills combined with attention to detail in all written communications.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
