M+C Saatchi Performance are looking for a paid media intern to join our account team. The Account team is responsible for managing our agency’s relationship with key clients and supporting the implementation, maintenance and delivery of paid media campaigns across various channels and platforms, including search, social, programmatic and display. They are tasked with implementing and delivering client campaigns as efficiently and effectively as possible through an in-depth understanding of the digital media market.
This is an entry level position and an excellent opportunity for those looking to get into the digital media industry. You’ll be working across a variety of the agency’s clients and will develop a strong foundation in performance media and the necessary skills to progress in the industry.
The ideal candidate will be curious and enthusiastic, with a passion for digital innovation, data analytics, advertising, and technology.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Working collaboratively with all internal teams to successfully deliver digital media campaigns – teams include Search and Social, Programmatic, Data and Creative
- Supporting the account team with the reporting of campaigns through Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools
- Helping with the optimization and efficient spending and pacing of clients’ media budgets
- Helping to maintain and manage campaign performance, tracking, and trafficking
- Support the day-to-day management of tech partners such as 3rd party measurement providers
- Maintaining accurate, accessible and organized documentation
- Attending relevant training sessions, whether through internal resources, external partners, or via webinars
- Assist with the following day-to-day tasks on the account(s):
- Communicating and building relationships with media partners
- Analyzing campaign data to make recommendations to external and internal partners
- Working with Ad Ops or measurement partners to deliver trafficking links
- Updating budget pacing documents
- Ensuring campaigns are tracked and measured based on client KPIs
- Helping to identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, tracking issues, etc.
- Reconciling monthly campaign spends

- Exposure to ad planning and buying methodologies across Ad networks, Programmatic and Search & social platforms
What You'll Bring
- Graduate with a degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint & Excel) and Google Suite
- Active social media user with an understanding of platform trends and audience behaviors
- Self-starter who can work independently with problem-solving skills
- Highly numerate and comfortable with data analysis
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet frequent deadlines
- Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A team player with a collaborative and positive attitude
- A desire to work in fast-paced, quickly changing, technology-driven industry
- An appetite to learn about digital media channels
What You'll Get
- This is a paid internship opportunity at $21/hour
- Flexible work arrangements available, combining on-site and remote work as needed. 4.5 days a week, with half days on Friday
- Duration: 12 weeks (3 months)
