JOVANI is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to assist in the Public Relations/Marketing department. This position will be working directly with PR & Marketing Director and will be responsible for all social media accounts for the company. We're looking for a passionate individual, with a strong fashion background and a creative eye towards social media trends and content creation. Candidates should be comfortable and eager to have a hands-on experience within an in-house fashion environment.
Jovani Fashions, a New York-based fashion house, is a leader in evening wear. Requirements
Applicants must have strong social media experience and be a skilled multi-tasker who is extremely organized. We are looking for people who enjoy working in high volume work environments and are creative individuals. Strong writing skills and great people skills are a must. Applicants must have an innovative and extroverted personality. We are looking for someone with strong computer and organizational skills. Work experience is necessary and we are looking for someone with 2-5 years in professional social media and marketing experience in the fashion industry. Professionalism and positive energy are a must. This position is full time opportunity for immediate start.
Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Develop a clear and impactful social strategy that will grow the JOVANI’s social media following, increase engagement, and position the brand as a unique thought leader in the socially responsible space
- Own all day-to-day operations for the JOVANI’s owned social media channels, including daily monitoring and engagement on the bank’s channels
- Work with the creative team to develop new and engaging content ideas and strategies to engage both retailers and overall audience
- Identify and manage external partnerships and campaigns with relevant brands, organizations and influencers
- Manage and have a deep understanding of paid social media strategies and buys
- Develop and manage editorial calendar to ensure alignment of content with relevant seasonal, product, and brand events
- Develop and maintain regular reports on social analytics and track against KPIs, optimizing content with the use of analytical tools with actionable recommendations
- Identify emerging social channels, trends and content
- Work with the PR/Marketing Director to ensure alignment on content that builds brand awareness and optimizes growth strategies
- Develop deep understanding of company brand voice and tone
- Know and use all necessary adobe platforms to include, photoshop, indesign and premier pro- or any other relater/comparable program.
- Provide general marketing support and assist with other marketing functions and day-to-day requests as needed
- Be Present at all marketing and multi-media events
- Perform other duties as directed
