Job Description Are you an experienced leader in Influencer strategy? Do you have the creative spirit of a content creator with the sharpness of a strategist? Do you have a deep understanding of how selfies can sell products? If so, you’re in luck! The LEGO Group is looking for a seasoned Influencer Strategist to help us build the Americas Influencer Center of Excellence within the LEGO Group’s in-house agency. You’ll collaborate with awesome colleagues across strategy, creative and marketing. This role sits within the Communications Strategy team and reports into the Director of Communications Strategy within the Our LEGO Agency Boston Office.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the Influencer strategies and best practices within our US, Canada, Mexico and LATAM business units in collaboration with Global Influencer Strategy counterparts
  • Build and define influencer communications plans and partnerships combining Owned, Earned, Paid and Shared media for the Americas
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Americas Influencer Center of Excellence, inclusive of working hand-in-hand with the Influencer Strategy Team, and managing projects with our influencer agency of record
  • Help bring creative ideas to life across our influencer ecosystem across our editorial and commercial content calendar, working closely with senior-level colleagues in Brand, Digital Marketing, PR, Events, Social, Retail, Entertainment and creative development
  • Partner closely within the comms strategy department to integrate Influencer best practices into the LEGO Group’s Owned, Earned, Shared and Paid media initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong pulse of rising trends in the creator economy and developments that impact our ability to connect with consumers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners on program development and Influencer talent selection and briefs
  • Leverage LEGO Group tools to track, analyze and select influencer talent programs

Do your part in our team succeeding Our LEGO Agency is responsible for crafting and building coordinated comms content across all touchpoints owned, earned, shared and paid, and we’re looking for someone to join the team who will build the most engaging and effective messaging for kids, adults and brands.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive experience in Influencer content development, with a keen focus on social, digital editorial and retail content
  • A proven track record for delivering projects that have positive business impact for enterprise sized brands
  • Deep experience using data-driven planning tools, audience insights (qual and quant) and effective data to build plans, and working within a defined planning process
  • Proven understanding of how an influencer is leveraged in today’s ever evolving media ecosystem
  • Ability to lead and balance multiple projects and stakeholder priorities across large cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – written, verbal, and emotional to be a critical member of our team.
  • Desire to stay close to projects throughout their life cycle to maintain strategic and creative excellence.
  • Passion for crafting communication work that has an impact, that matters, and that’s memorable.
  • Shown experience as a storyteller and communicator; must have past examples of influencer work

  • This is a Sr Manager level role based at 1001 Boylston St in Boston, MA.

Compensation The salary for this position has a range of $134,750.00 - $202,126.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
