Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented E-commerce & Marketplace Brand Specialist to lead the growth and performance of our portfolio of brands across all e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Shein, TEMU, Walmart Marketplace, Target+, and DTC (Shopify). This role combines expert catalog and retail content management with full-funnel marketplace advertising and off-platform traffic generation.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketplace operator with a proven track record of scaling brands in competitive categories by driving organic visibility, paid performance, profitability, and overall revenue growth. You will manage end-to-end brand strategy across Amazon Vendor Central and complementary retail and marketplace channels, ensuring content, availability, and retail readiness are fully optimized while maximizing ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end growth strategy and execution for brands across all e-comm platforms including Amazon Vendor Central, Home Depot, Walmart Marketplace, Target+, and DTC (Shopify).
  • Manage and optimize product catalogs and content, including keyword research, SEO (titles, bullets, descriptions, backend terms), variation structures, and high-quality creative assets (images, infographics, video).
  • Lead development and optimization of A+ Content (Vendor), Amazon Brand Stores, Posts, and equivalent enhanced content across other retail platforms to improve conversion and brand storytelling.
  • Drive off-platform traffic through high-ROI external channels, including influencer and affiliate programs, paid social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube), Google Ads, email/SMS marketing, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage campaign architecture, keyword strategy, bidding, audience development, ACoS/TACoS, ROAS, and contribution margin performance across platforms.
  • Monitor and maintain ecomm readiness and listing health, resolving issues such as suppressions, content errors, unauthorized sellers, shortages, chargebacks, and policy violations.
  • Execute large-scale catalog updates and bulk changes using Vendor Central and marketplace tools and templates.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, A/B testing, and data-driven optimization using Amazon Retail Analytics, Brand Analytics, Home Depot reporting tools, and third-party platforms.
  • Partner cross-functionally with creative, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to align advertising, content, forecasting, PO management, and launch strategies.
  • Lead new product launches and turnaround initiatives for underperforming SKUs across retail and marketplace channels.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and insights, translating performance data into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Stay current on platform policy changes, algorithm updates, retail media innovations, and industry trends to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.

Experience

  • 3–7+ years of hands-on experience managing and scaling brands within Amazon Vendor Central, with ownership of retail content, advertising performance, and growth strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting brands across additional retail and marketplace platforms, including Home Depot, Walmart Marketplace, Target+, and/or DTC (Shopify).
  • Proven ability to operate in a cross-functional environment, working closely with creative, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to align content, advertising, inventory planning, and growth objectives.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners (agencies, creators, vendors) to develop creative assets, execute launches, manage promotions, and drive integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong background in Amazon advertising and retail media, including Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP, with a track record of managing to profitability (ACoS/TACoS, ROAS, contribution margin).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, managing, or scaling teams of marketplace specialists, analysts, and/or creative partners.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience using Amazon Retail Analytics, Brand Analytics, and third-party tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex performance data into clear insights and recommendations for cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, copywriting, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands, platforms, and priorities simultaneously.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
