Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead integrated communications programs across general market and U.S. Hispanic audiences.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role for someone who can think strategically, execute confidently, and operate independently. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, has established media relationships, and has successfully led influencer campaigns from strategy through execution.
This role requires presence in our Miami office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility Monday and Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Leadership
• Serve as senior day-to-day lead on assigned accounts
• Develop annual and quarterly communications strategies
• Lead client calls and presentations
• Provide proactive counsel and issue management guidance
• Translate business objectives into measurable communications plans
Media Relations
• Leverage strong relationships across general market and U.S. Hispanic media
• Develop media strategies across print, digital, broadcast, and trade
• Secure meaningful earned coverage aligned to client objectives
• Oversee and elevate all press materials and pitching efforts
Influencer Strategy
• Develop and manage influencer engagement strategies
• Negotiate partnerships and oversee content development
• Understand usage rights, creator tiers, and performance metrics
• Integrate influencer programs into earned-first campaigns
Writing & Messaging
• Draft and refine press releases, messaging documents, executive talking points, and strategic decks
• Ensure cultural nuance and relevance across audiences
• Elevate team writing and maintain quality control
Team Leadership
• Manage and mentor account team members
• Oversee workflow and deadlines
• Ensure accountability and strong execution
Qualifications
• 7–10+ years agency experience
• Experience leading both general market and U.S. Hispanic communications programs
• Strong media relationships (national and regional preferred)
• Demonstrated influencer strategy and execution experience
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills
• Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple accounts
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
