About The Role Diageo is undertaking a global transformation through the Voyager program. Phase 1 is a platform upgrade from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, impacting over 12,000 users across 100+ markets. The program initially aims to deliver a successful SAP S/4 HANA go-live to be followed by a business transformation in later phases. Diageo is therefore seeking a Voyager Deployment Project Manager who has excellent market and stakeholder leadership capabilities to optimally deliver SAP S/4 Hana solutions in Diageo’s fast-paced environment for Phase 1 of the programme. They will have strong cross-functional knowledge of processes and solutions as well as market knowledge for the region assigned to the role i.e Africa / Europe / NAM / LAC / AP.

Purpose Of The Role To lead the Voyager programme deployment engagement and readiness for North America.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the regional plan, including deployment and business readiness; provide key inputs into cutover, testing, data, and training PMs
- Track and report progress, deliverables, and KPIs, including governance dashboards, critical path timelines, stage-gates, and RAID logs
- Support risk mitigation, proactively flagging slippages or cross-stream impacts to programme leadership
- Ensure documentation, decisions, and updates are centrally captured and audit-ready
- Act as key contact point for regional business owners, tech leads, and deployment teams
- Drive readiness reviews and governance updates for the region, ensuring alignment with global programme objectives
Skills Required
- Proven background in project or programme management for ERP or large-scale business transformation
- Strong understanding of regional business processes and operational complexities
- Experience working with multi-country stakeholders and navigating diverse regulatory or market contexts
- Familiarity with cutover planning, testing, and hyper care
- Track record of cross-functional stakeholder engagement
- Deep knowledge of SAP technical and functional architecture, data model, and emerging SAP capabilities, including integrating SAP solutions
- Several full cycle implementation experience required – ECC and SAP S/4
- Leverage business process knowledge & proficiency for FP&A and ensure business requirements and solution meeting standards
- Excellent knowledge if cross-stream impacts in MM, SD and other SAP modules
- Experience working with 3rd party applications in the financial planning tools
- Competency in strategic design thinking with strong capabilities across S/4 HANA architecture
- Good understanding of SaaS, Cloud hosting and Integration technologies (including integrations with Salesforce.com)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle with experiences of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
- Design and implementation of S/4 HANA solutions to meet business requirements and best standards.
- Competency in designing, building, testing and deploying the SAP solution components required for successful integrations to SAP and non-SAP systems
- Effective project scoping and delivery
- Analytical and structured programme manager who consolidates complex regional inputs and bridges central leadership with local teams
- Strong stakeholder influencer who keeps senior leaders aligned, resilient under pressure, adaptable to shifting priorities, and proactive in identifying and mitigating risks early.

- Bachelors degree a plus
