Digital Media Specialist (Paid Social Focus)

Hybrid (Midwest preferred) | Remote-flex

A fast-growing, social-first marketing agency is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to lead paid social execution across performance-driven client accounts. This is a hands-on buying and optimization role with paid social as the primary growth engine, supported by exposure to Google Search and YouTube.

Role Overview

You will own day-to-day campaign execution across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging platforms. Responsibilities include building campaign structure, managing budgets and pacing, launching tests, optimizing performance in real time, and translating data into actionable insights.

The role also supports creator-led and influencer-backed paid campaigns, including whitelisting and social-native media strategies. You will partner closely with creative teams to ensure assets are optimized for paid distribution and provide performance-based feedback on messaging, hooks, and formats.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize paid social campaigns across major platforms

Oversee budgets, pacing, testing frameworks, and performance reporting

Execute creator and influencer whitelisting strategies within paid social

Support Google Ads across Search, YouTube, and Display

Continuously test, iterate, and improve performance based on data

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in paid social or digital media execution

Proven success managing performance-driven campaigns

Strong understanding of paid social KPIs and optimization levers

Working knowledge of Google Ads

Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments
