Position Summary The Influencer Marketing Specialist plays a key executional role in the influencer marketing space as part of the broader Social Media/Influencer Marketing business unit. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized professional who can effectively prioritize work without compromising quality. Reporting to the Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing, the Specialist will drive tactical execution of influencer marketing programs for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Primary Focus Execute influencer and partnership programs for clients while helping advance and scale the agency’s influencer marketing discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Social Media/Influencer Marketing team to research, vet, negotiate, and execute influencer marketing programs.
Develop into an influence marketing subject matter expert for the agency, providing guidance and insights to internal teams and clients.
Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, paid media, account service, and additional business units to deliver integrated influencer campaigns.
Communicate regularly via email, virtual meetings, and in-person with clients and influencers or their representatives.
Manage influencer outreach, negotiations, contracting, and ongoing communication on behalf of client brands.
Maintain a professional, informed, and solutions-oriented demeanor, even during high-pressure negotiations or timelines.
Stay current with emerging social and influencer trends and clearly communicate those insights to teams and clients.
Optimize influencer programs in real time and recommend refinements.
Utilize influencer marketing tools and contribute to improving internal processes; experience with influencer marketing software is a plus.
Own and streamline the influencer tracking, reporting and analytics function for the agency.
Support the Social Media/Influencer Marketing team with events, trade shows, internal communications, and social media as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience in influencer marketing or related field
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or a related field
Strong understanding of all social media platforms and the influencer marketing industry.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
