The Brand Manager for Jack Daniel’s Flavors will develop and execute annual brand plans designed to drive growth while keeping the consumer at the center of everything we do. This role works closely with cross-functional teams and key partners to deliver on brand and business objectives, ensuring Jack Daniel’s Flavors continues to thrive in a competitive market. What You Can Expect
- Lead the development and execution of the annual strategic brand plan that aligns with long-term brand strategies
- Lead the development of innovative brand-building platforms and programs to support the annual brand plans
- Write clear, actionable briefs aimed at solving brand and business challenges
- Manage our agency partners to deliver the tools needed to execute the annual brand plans
- Manage Jack Flavors budget and P&L, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources to achieve brand and business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives
- Partner with the Insights Team to conduct market research, competitive analysis and consumer insights initiatives to gain a clear understanding of the consumer, competition and the category to develop actionable insights
- Partner with the Brand Manager - Media for oversight of paid & owned media:
- Co-lead (w/ Brand Manager - Media) and coordinate all paid and owned media channels to support annual communication and business goals, including comms brief development; remit includes paid media, influencer, email/CRM, social & website
- Guide the creation and oversight of advertising creative and content strategies to ensure the right content is on the right platform, for the right consumer, at the right time.
- Oversee media performance, measurement, and annual brand learning agendas, to ensure alignment with comms goals and drive accountability to paid & owned media investments
- Collaborate with our agency partners to create holistic communication plans across all consumer touchpoints
- Manage existing and new product line extensions, ensuring successful market entry
- Work with internal teams to optimize creative and commercial efficiencies
- Oversee the development of the Associate Brand Manager, balancing hands-on coaching with increased project ownership
What You Bring To The Table
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand management or marketing in a consumer packaged goods environment preferably in the spirits or beverage alcohol industry with a proven track record of developing and managing brand plans.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to lead and develop others (preference for experience leading direct reports)
- Ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve goals
- Experience managing external agency partners
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn insights into actionable goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working Arrangement
In-office at the Brown-Forman Louisville, Kentucky Corporate Headquarters Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
