Title: Social Media Project Coordinator
Location: Addison, TX (9 am - 5 pm, Monday through Thursday in office, Friday remote)
Duration: Contract, 12+ months
Compensation: $25-30/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Key Experience
- Prior experience using project management platforms is preferred (e.g., Workfront, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, etc.).
- Demonstrated familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- The social media, PR, and advertising team is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Project Coordinator (contract position) to support the team's initiatives.
Role Description, including but not limited to:
- Manage daily project coordination and execution for U.S. social media and digital advertising content, including administrative and organizational support for the social media, PR, and advertising team.
- Develop, assign, and track project tasks within a project management system (e.g., Workfront).
- Collaborate with the Social Media Content Associate to build and maintain weekly content calendars.
- Organize and coordinate product shipments to influencers, beauty editors, and strategic partners.
- Partner closely with the Creative Team to ensure all required assets and details are delivered for content completion.
- Manage timelines and workflow for display advertising (web banners) and paid social campaigns to ensure on-time delivery.
- Contribute occasional creative input and copywriting support for captions, short-form videos, and visual assets.
- Monitor social media platforms for user-generated and influencer content featuring products and/or independent consultants.
- Support various ad hoc initiatives, such as drafting video scripts, assisting with short-form video production (TikTok/Reels), conducting competitor analysis, supporting PR projects as needed, and helping coordinate video or photo shoots.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of project management experience; interest or experience in social media, content development, or digital marketing is a plus.
- Exposure to (or strong interest in) marketing, direct sales, or the beauty industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to quickly adjust based on feedback and changing priorities.
- Experience working with project management systems such as Workfront, Asana, Trello, or Basecamp is preferred.
- Solid understanding of major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
