Description

BKN Creative is currently looking for a BADASS Full-Time Social Media Manager who is a versatile and creative storyteller, a strategy wizard, a creative ghoul, and an overall good human to join us in-office at our Tampa, FL agency. At BKN, we pride ourselves on crafting unique brand experiences for our clients. We are looking for someone with a creative and detail-oriented mind to manage our social media department and every day social media tasks. We are looking for someone proficient in both creative and organic and paid social media who is a self-starter, organized, can multi-task like a wizard while remaining on trend and up to date with the ever-changing world of social media. We love what we do, and we are looking for someone who will compliment our already incredible team.

Primary Job Functions

  • Plan, design, implement and monitor internal and client social media marketing campaigns
  • Create, curate and manage all internal and client social media content, including text, audio, visual and multimedia formats
  • Engage client users, in client voice, with prompt responses, organize giveaways and promos, and cultivate relationships
  • Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective
  • Create comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to boost brand image, increase customer engagement and improve conversion
  • Design, implement and manage social ad campaigns integrated into internal and client strategic marketing plans
  • Manage internal influencer program including, outreach, contracts, payment, deliverables, etc.,
  • Track internal and client social media key performance metrics to maximize results and report progress to management and clients
  • Oversee the management of various social media clients and internal social media objectives
  • Assist and lead marketing, creative and advertising needs within agency
  • Lead and build robust Social Media Strategies for various current and new clients
  • Be a conceptual thinker who thinks outside the box
  • Build, understand, and report monthly analytics
  • Establish social KPIs and reports for social media campaigns
  • Understand and communicate the differences in brand voices
  • Perform audits of current accounts and offer new ideas on a quarterly basis
  • Write, Schedule, Engage, Manage various social media accounts on a daily basis
  • Develop creative work that is on-brand for each individual client and internal brands
  • Create content (photo, video & design assets) for social purposes
  • Demonstrate excellent writing skills including grammar specifically for social media
  • Attend regular internal and client status meetings
  • Interact daily with internal systems and processes
  • Professionally communicate with both Clients and Staff
  • Keep team up-to-date on all projects
  • Meet deadlines, track progress, and manage time efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Support and lead overall social media team

  • Assist other members of department / team as needed when workload allows
  • Strong knowledge of storytelling, content creation, voice, tone, grammar, and copyediting, as well as lifestyle and design vocabulary
  • Strong skills in agility with the ability to pivot quickly when directions and priorities change on short notice
  • Knowledge of best practices for marketing and digital platforms
  • Be a BADASS who is excited to work on multiple brands in various industries
  • Thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be okay with pets in the office — direct from the pups who roam
  • Be creative AF and not afraid to ask questions
  • Come to the table with ALL the ideas

  • We feel like no one is too good for production work. Our Managers / owners are also doers, so the expectation is to always do, not only lead.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an agency or high volume, fast-paced advertising / marketing environment with true social media management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, English, Journalism, Advertising or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Relevant Marketing / Advertising experience
  • Experience managing multiple brand social media accounts at one time
  • Large Budget Social Media Ad Management experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent self-management and self-starter skills (girl, we don’t have time to micro-manage)
