As we expand our footprint in the US and Europe markets, we are seeking a dynamic, fast-paced Vice President of Marketing to lead and elevate our marketing functions across the US and Europe. Role Overview: As Vice President of Marketing, you will lead all marketing functions for the US and Europe markets with explicit global responsibilities. You will combine strategic brand leadership with high-impact global demand generation and customer engagement initiatives. This role requires a visionary marketer who can set global brand direction, partner across countries and matrixed functions, and adapt programs for local markets while ensuring consistent measurement and ROI across the entire organization. Key Responsibilities Li & Fung Brand Identity, Global Experience & Governance* Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy aligned with Li & Fung’s business objectives and growth plans
- Translate brand values into powerful, culturally relevant marketing campaigns and storytelling that resonates across the US and Europe.
- Partner closely with leadership across product, sales, and operations to integrate marketing seamlessly with business objectives.
- Define and own the global brand platform and governance model to ensure consistent brand positioning, voice and visual identity worldwide.
- Build and operationalize brand guidelines, global messaging frameworks and playbooks that country and regional teams can localize.
- Lead periodic global brand health assessments and recommend global/country level investments to protect and grow brand equity.
Regional Market Leadership & Localization* Partner with country and regional business leads to translate global strategy into culturally relevant, locally optimized campaigns and content.
- Actively champion the corporate mission while leading a focused own‑brand and licensing business—driving regional brand stewardship, licensing partnerships, and aligned go‑to‑market programs to maximize brand equity and revenue.
- Develop a localization framework (content, creative, channel mix, budget allocation) that balances global consistency with local market effectiveness.
- Coach and enable regional teams with toolkits, training, and shared assets to accelerate execution and reduce duplication.
Global Demand Generation & Go-to-Market* Own global demand generation targets, creating a scalable, multi-country pipeline model that aligns marketing activity to global revenue goals.
- Develop and coordinate country and regional go-to-market plans for product launches, service offerings and major enterprise initiatives.
- Standardize lead scoring, routing and attribution across countries and regions to provide a single view of pipeline performance.
Communications, PR & Thought Leadership (Global)* Lead global communications strategy, including corporate PR, executive thought leadership, analyst relations and crisis communications planning.
- Build global media and influencer programs, negotiating global partnerships while enabling region-specific activations.
- Ensure consistent storytelling for global accounts and key customers across markets.
Global Events & Experiences* Plan and prioritize global events (trade shows, roadshows, flagship experiences) and coordinate regional activations in-country to amplify impact.
- Define global event ROI frameworks and vendor selection standards to drive scale and cost-efficiency.
Data, Analytics & Global Marketing Technology* Own global marketing performance frameworks and KPIs such as global brand awareness, global pipeline contribution, CAC, LTV, and channel ROI.
- Steward global marketing technology ensuring consistent data models, compliant data flows and integration with global CRM/analytics.
- Drive adoption of centralized dashboards and reporting to give global and regional leaders a single source of truth.
Partnerships, Internal and external stakeholders (Global)* Manage global agency partnerships, negotiate global commercial terms and SLAs, and oversee consolidated agency performance reviews.
- Establish vendor governance, procurement standards and global budget frameworks to realize scale economies while enabling local flexibility.
Compliance, Privacy & Risk* Ensure all global marketing programs comply with regional regulations (for example data privacy requirements such as GDPR/CCPA and marketing-related regulations).
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to approve global campaigns, data use, and cross-border data transfers.
Leadership, Organization & Culture* Build, lead and mentor a high-performing, culturally diverse global marketing organization — hiring and developing regional leads and centralized functions (brand, demand, digital, content, events).
- Drive a collaborative matrix operating model across product, sales, supply chain and country leadership.
- Champion innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning across the global team.
Budgeting, Planning & P&L Accountability* Own global marketing planning cycle inputs for the US and Europe and coordinate consolidated global marketing investment planning.
- Manage and reallocate global budget based on performance, ROI and strategic priorities; oversee forecasting and spend governance.
Mergers, Partnerships & Strategic Initiatives* Support global corporate strategic initiatives, M&A diligence/integration and strategic partnerships from a marketing perspective.
- Provide go-to-market advice and integration planning for acquired businesses and new market entries.
Travel & Working Model* Regular international travel to priority regions for leadership, events and stakeholder alignment (typical travel expectation: up to 30–50% depending on business needs).
- Effectively lead across time zones and maintain flexible working hours to collaborate with global stakeholders.
Success Metrics / Key Performance Indicators (examples)* Global brand awareness and perception scores across priority markets.
- Contribution of global marketing to pipeline and revenue (absolute and %).
- Cost per lead / cost per acquisition by region and channel.
- Global campaign ROI and CPL improvement year-over-year.
- Regional adoption rate of global playbooks and time-to-market for localized campaigns.
- Employee engagement and retention in the global marketing organization.
Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive senior marketing leadership experience with proven global/matrixed leadership (minimum 5+ years leading multi-region programs).
- Experience in global brand marketing, B2B and B2C demand generation, digital/social media and enterprise events across multiple countries and regions.
- Demonstrated success operating in complex, matrixed organizations and partnering with regional leaders to drive results.
- Strong experience with marketing technology, AI, data governance and global analytics frameworks.
- Track record managing global agency relationships, vendor negotiations and multi-market budgets.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally and work across multiple time zones.
- Experience in apparel, fashion, consumer goods or supply-chain related services.
- Past experience leading transformational marketing programs and digital-first initiatives at scale.
Compensation & Benefits* Annual base salary range: $200,000 – $250,000
