Position Summary: At Mecha, the Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in executing integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, community engagement, and business growth across markets. This position supports the development and implementation of digital, social, PR, and local store marketing initiatives while collaborating cross-functionally with operations, design, culinary, and leadership teams. The Marketing Coordinator is both creative and analytical—bringing fresh ideas to campaigns while using data-driven insights to optimize performance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities include: Social Media & Content Development* Develop, create, and publish engaging, brand-consistent content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and emerging channels.

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content for in-store promotions, menu launches, events, and brand storytelling.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep content timely and relevant.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage community engagement, including responding to comments, DMs, reviews, and guest interactions in a timely and professional manner.

Campaign Execution & Brand Support* Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns for promotions, new store openings, seasonal launches, and brand initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and on-brand execution.
  • Support development of promotional materials including presentations, in-store collateral, digital assets, and email content.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and assist with campaign timelines to ensure deadlines are met.

Public Relations & Partnerships* Assist in identifying media opportunities and maintaining relationships with local and national media contacts.

  • Support drafting and pitching press materials, coordinating interviews, and tracking media coverage.
  • Help manage influencer partnerships, including outreach, coordination, deliverables, and performance tracking.

Market Research & Analytics* Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from campaigns and promotions.

  • Conduct competitive research and monitor industry and food trends to inform strategy.
  • Support new market research and assist with localized marketing strategies for new store openings.

Events & Community Engagement* Assist with planning and execution of marketing events, grand openings, community activations, and pop-ups.

  • Coordinate with vendors, event partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Travel to new and existing markets as needed to support launches and promotional efforts.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support* Support daily marketing operations including asset management, vendor coordination, invoice tracking, and reporting.

  • Maintain organized digital files and marketing documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media management.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling visual and written content aligned with brand voice.
  • Experience capturing and editing photo and video content for digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with content scheduling tools, analytics platforms, and reporting dashboards.
  • Experience with website management and basic CMS updates preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong editing capabilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for market launches, events, and promotions.
  • A passion for food, hospitality, and emerging food trends is strongly preferred.
