Part-Time (15–25 hours per week, flexible schedule including evenings and weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, organized, and wine-loving Marketing & Event Coordinator to support two dynamic, experience-driven brands: The Winery of Ellicottville and Black Flower Wine & Provisions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling, community engagement, hospitality, and creating memorable wine-centric events. You’ll be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing events while maintaining consistent, engaging marketing across digital and in-store channels.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute winery events, tastings, and seasonal promotions
  • Manage event timelines, vendor coordination, and staffing needs
  • Assist with on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Create event run-of-show sheets and internal checklists
  • Ensure a high-quality guest experience consistent with brand standards
  • collaborate with graphic artist

Marketing & Promotion

  • Develop and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, email marketing)
  • Promote events and retail offerings through in-store displays and online platforms
  • Assist in developing brand campaigns, promotions, and seasonal themes
  • Assist in maintaining and updating website content and event listings

Content Creation & Brand Voice

  • Capture photos/video during events and in-store experiences
  • Write captions, newsletters, and promotional copy consistent with brand voice
  • Highlight wine releases, experiences, retail items, and collaborations
  • Help maintain a cohesive and elevated brand aesthetic across both businesses

Community & Partnerships

  • Coordinate partnerships with local businesses, tourism groups, and vendors
  • Support cross-promotional events and collaborations
  • Assist with outreach to influencers, media, and local organizations

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Maintain marketing calendar and event planning documents
  • Track event attendance, engagement, and basic marketing metrics
  • Assist with inventory coordination for events and retail promotions
  • Support ownership and management with special projects

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience in marketing, events, hospitality, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Social media proficiency (Instagram, Facebook, Canva or similar tools)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be available some evenings, weekends, and event days
  • Passion for wine, hospitality, and small business is strongly preferred

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with wineries, restaurants, or tourism marketing
  • Basic photography or video editing skills
  • Email marketing platform experience
  • Knowledge of the Ellicottville and Hamburg communities, tourism and event market
