ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Public Relations team. This is a foundational role for someone eager to gain hands-on experience while working on nationally recognized entertainment, travel, food and beverage, casino gaming and sports clients. The role blends media relations, creative storytelling, social influencer outreach and experiential PR. KDC operates in a 50/50 hybrid work environment, and candidates must be based in and/or open to relocating to Las Vegas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Support PR account teams through media research, targeted media list development, coverage tracking, reporting and account coordination
● Draft and edit announcements, media alerts, pitch letters and other written materials to drive client exposure
● Assist in coordinating and executing media and social influencer events, from grand openings and menu reveals to activations and more
● Support media relations efforts by developing creative story angles and timely pitch ideas for top-tier media and social influencers
● Research coverage opportunities, media trends and cultural moments to inform pitch ideas and campaign concepts
● Support integrated campaigns, including PR, social storytelling, partnerships, promotions and special initiatives
● Maintain organized client files, media coverage reports, and activity tracking
● Coordinate supporting assets such as photography, b-roll, and other digital content
● Monitor media coverage and assist with reporting insights and results
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field
● Internships, coursework, or hands-on experience in PR, communications or marketing preferred but not required
● Strong writing, editing and communication skills
● Highly organized with strong attention to detail
● Curious, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced agency environment
● Interest in entertainment, attractions, retail, sports, public safety programs
● Community and Las Vegas culture strongly encouraged
● Interest in media, pop culture, trends and storytelling across platforms is a plus

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
