Sales/Marketing Manager
Full-time
Scottsdale, AZ, US
About the job
We are looking for a Sales/Marketing Manager for a growing franchise to take it to the next level.
The organization is transitioning from an owner-led sales and marketing model to a professionally managed growth structure, making this role essential for the next steps.
This is not a purely corporate, desk-based sales role, nor a pure digital marketing or creative design position. The role requires versatility, judgment, and ownership.

The business currently operates five territories supported by five Kona Ice Vehicles (KEVs) and one trailer, with plans to expand over the next twenty-four months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage long-term relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to drive referrals and mutual growth.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals for group bookings, sponsorships, or corporate memberships.
- Community Engagement & Outreach: Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and community workshops to build local brand equity and trust.
- Localized Marketing Execution: Develop and implement grassroots marketing plans, including social media strategies, digital content, and on-the-ground activations tailored to the local demographic.
- Revenue Tracking & ROI Analysis: Use HubSpot CRM or Salesforce to track sales activity, analyze campaign performance, and report on the ROI of partnership initiatives.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute "familiarization" (FAM) events, client mixers, and community-focused open houses to showcase the brand’s value proposition.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: In sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the hospitality, senior living, or events industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, social media management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Logistics: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent off-site community visits.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
