Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Content Creator to elevate our brand’s digital presence across various platforms. In this role, you will craft engaging, visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience and drives brand awareness. Your creative storytelling skills, combined with your expertise in social media marketing and digital analytics, will help us connect authentically with our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence brand perception and grow our online footprint through compelling content creation and strategic social media management.
Duties
- Develop and execute creative content strategies tailored to different social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Produce high-quality multimedia content such as graphics, videos, photography, and written posts using tools like Canva.
- Manage daily social media activities using platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer to schedule posts, monitor engagement, and optimize posting times for maximum reach.
- Conduct social listening to gather insights on audience preferences, trending topics, and competitor activity to inform content planning.
- Implement SEO best practices and keyword research to enhance content visibility and improve search engine rankings.
- Analyze web and social media analytics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with leadership and events teams to stay current on upcoming events and to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels while managing relationships with influencers and partners.
- Oversee Facebook and Google Advertising campaigns to increase engagement, reach targeted audiences, and support promotional initiatives.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, social media management, video editing, photography, and e-commerce to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management or content creation within a digital marketing environment.
- Proficiency in Canva (or similar) and video editing software.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Experience with social listening tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer for monitoring online conversations.
- Knowledge of Facebook and Google Advertising platforms and experience managing paid campaigns.
- Excellent graphic design skills with an eye for branding consistency across multiple channels.
- Ability to produce engaging multimedia content including photography and short videos.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in messaging accuracy.
- Familiarity with social media marketing strategies related to social enterprise and restaurant platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional relationship management skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
