Chevron Construction is seeking a dynamic and energetic Social Media and Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing initiatives and elevate our brand presence across multiple platforms. Ideally you have worked with a company in the trades before or have a strong understanding of how trades businesses work and target clients. Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok to boost brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Manage social media scheduling using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to ensure consistent posting and timely responses.
  • Monitor social listening channels to gather insights on customer sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Optimize content for SEO by conducting keyword research and integrating relevant tags to improve organic reach.
  • Analyze web analytics and social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics to measure campaign performance and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with public relations teams to manage brand reputation and develop impactful campaigns for product launches or events.
  • Oversee paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads or other platforms to maximize ROI and target specific demographics effectively.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for visual content creation that aligns with branding guidelines.
  • Engage in relationship management by interacting with followers, influencers, partners, and stakeholders to foster community growth.
  • Proofread all content meticulously to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency before publication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social listening tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer along with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; experience with video editing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, and content creation strategies tailored for online audiences.
  • Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media advertising platforms to execute targeted campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and public relations strategies to enhance brand reputation online.
  • Ability to analyze data insights from web analytics tools to inform decision-making processes.
  • Excellent proofreading skills ensuring all content is polished, accurate, and aligned with brand voice.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills for engaging with followers, influencers, partners, and internal teams.
