Rogue Producer

About the job

Rogue: Who We Are

Rogue is a production-centric creative content studio built for speed. We solve real marketing problems fast and bring them to life even faster. We are not a traditional agency. No billable-hour theater. No bloated process decks.

We operate like a Hollywood studio. We assemble the right talent for the job, move quickly, and make work that performs. The work comes first. Always. Great creative that earns attention, performance media that makes money, and branding that cuts through. We value honesty, clarity, and flexibility over politics and polish.

The Role: Senior Account Director (Freelance)

We are looking for a Senior Account Director to take full ownership of a single, complex, high-impact account and actively drive its success. This role is about setting direction, anticipating issues before they surface, and keeping fast-moving work aligned without waiting to be asked.

You are not just managing a client. You are running the business of the account.

This is not a servicing role. If you wait for direction, approvals, or perfect information, this role will not work for you.

You will act as the primary client partner and internal quarterback, staying ahead of priorities, pressure-testing plans, and proactively shaping what happens next. You work closely with external paid media and PR agency partners while leading account and project management support internally. When things get messy or move fast, you are already moving the pieces into place.

This role is estimated at 25-35 hours a week. Candidate can be remote but some in-person time will be needed for meetings, events, content shoots. Candidate does not need to be based in NYC, but prefer someone on Eastern time.

What You’ll Do

Own the Business

  • Develop a deep, working understanding of the client’s business, success metrics, constraints, and strategic priorities
  • Maintain full command of all active initiatives, with the ability to clearly articulate the purpose, logic, and performance drivers behind each one
  • Continuously evaluate what is working, what is not, and where adjustments are needed
  • Recognize when a pivot is required, even if the exact solution is not yet defined

Lead the Client Relationship

  • Serve as the senior, steady presence for the account
  • Clients should feel that nothing is slipping and nothing is reactive
  • Set the tone for how work moves, how decisions get made, and how issues are addressed
  • Bring forward recommendations, risks, and next steps without being prompted

Drive Execution Across the Ecosystem

  • Translate strategy into clear scopes, timelines, and deliverables across influencer programs, paid media, digital, social, and CTV creative
  • Lead cross-functional teams including creatives, strategists, platform specialists, and external partners
  • Keep external media and PR partners aligned with creative and production at all times
  • Own timelines, budgets, resourcing, and dependencies end to end
  • Proactively report on progress, KPIs, and performance

Lead Without Bureaucracy

  • Bring structure and clarity without slowing things down
  • Anticipate friction points and resolve them before they become problems
  • Step into the work when needed
  • Model accountability, decisiveness, and calm under pressure

Who You Are

You are an experienced account leader who thrives in fast, imperfect environments. You take incomplete information and turn it into a plan. You think ahead, stay grounded, and act without waiting for permission.

You do not hide behind process. You understand how creative, media, production, and partners intersect in the real world. Clients trust you because you are prepared, direct, and clearly in control of the account.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of senior account leadership experience at an agency, brand, or in-house marketing team
  • Experience running accounts in OTC, CPG, Beauty, VMS, or PE-backed environments is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to lead integrated work across social, influencer, paid media, and digital channels
  • Strong project and people management skills with comfort operating both strategically and tactically
  • Fluency in performance metrics, timelines, budgets, and KPIs
  • Clear, confident communication and strong executive presence
  • Ability to stay calm, decisive, and effective under pressure
