Objective

CHAUVET DJ is seeking a Brand Manager to champion the visibility, adoption, and equity of the CHAUVET DJ brand. This role reports directly to the Senior Global Marketing Manager and collaborates with various teams to drive brand equity, customer acquisition, and sales growth

  • Create and execute marketing plans to boost brand visibility, open new markets, facilitate customer acquisition and retention, and drive sales.
  • Implement and oversee product commercialization plans, including positioning, campaigns, customer programs, and events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Customer Service, and Trade Marketing teams and work day-to-day with the Associate Brand Manager, to deliver successful product launches and brand programming through clear, consistent communication and strong market feedback loops.
  • Manage and work closely with an Associate Brand Manager to translate brand strategy into coordinated execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and high-quality delivery across initiatives.
  • Research customer needs, monitor market trends and competitive landscapes, and contribute to product positioning and portfolio decisions.
  • Monitor marketing activities online and offline to ensure a favorable brand presence and that programs align with brand objectives, adhere to brand guidelines, and deeply resonate with customers.
  • Ensure marketing programs align with brand positioning, objectives, and functional guidelines.
  • Regularly provide summary reports on key brand activities to the Senior Global Marketing Manager, using market research, data, and analytics to assess effectiveness; recommend and execute improvements as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, dealers, distributors, and key industry influencers.
  • Identify, negotiate, and coordinate cross-marketing opportunities and partnerships, including product endorsements, placements, advertising, and influencer collaborations within designated market segments.
  • Work closely with the Senior Global Marketing Manager to execute global customer marketing and merchandising programs with key retailers and customers, supported by marketing specialists and sales teams worldwide; adjust strategies based on performance and results.
  • Enforce brand positioning, standards, and functional guidelines across all marketing activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management and organizational ability (MS O365).
  • High organizational discipline; comfortable managing tasks in tools like Asana.
  • Clear communicator capable of guiding and influencing across multiple regions.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and contribute to competitive analyses and product positioning.
  • Able to coach, direct, and support a direct report, Associate Brand Manager.
  • Willingness to learn specialized lighting technologies, DJ trends and communities.

Education/Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Min. 5 years of marketing, channel marketing, or product marketing experience.
  • Experience in entertainment lighting, AV, pro audio, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong English communication.
  • Ability to travel (~2-5%) for partner meetings, regional visits, and key events.

Physical Demands:

Regular use of hands to interact with products; reach with hands and arms; Talk and hear. Sit, stand, and walk. May be required to lift and/or move up to ten pounds without assistance.

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers and other peripherals and occasional bright lights from lighting fixtures.
