Social Media Intern (Part-Time) - Little Pandas Play Cafe

About Us

Little Pandas Play Cafe® is a family-focused coffee shop and indoor play space where kids explore and parents unwind. We are more than a café — we are a community hub for families, events, and meaningful moments.

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and social-media-savvy intern to help us grow our online presence and bring our brand to life digitally.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on, content-focused role perfect for someone who loves:

• Creating Instagram & TikTok content
• Capturing real-life moments
• Editing short-form video
• Staying on top of trends
• Building community through storytelling

You will work closely with ownership to execute content ideas while also bringing your own creative direction to the table.

ResponsibilitiesContent Creation

• Capture photo and video content in-cafe (play, coffee, events, families — with permission)
• Film Reels and TikToks weekly
• Assist with trending audio + short-form video concepts
• Create behind-the-scenes content
• Highlight events, birthdays, and community moments

Editing & Posting

• Edit short-form video (Reels/TikTok)
• Draft captions aligned with brand voice
• Schedule and publish posts
• Maintain visual consistency and aesthetic
• Assist with Stories content throughout the week

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments and DMs (as assigned)
• Engage with local businesses and creators
• Support influencer collaborations
• Help grow followers organically

Marketing Support

• Promote upcoming events and ticket links
• Assist with email/text marketing content ideas
• Help brainstorm campaign ideas (seasonal, themed events, etc.)

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok
• Comfortable filming and editing short-form content
• Experience using CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar tools
• Creative eye for branding and aesthetics
• Organized and reliable
• Comfortable working in a lively family environment
• Available 10–15 hours per week (some weekend availability preferred)

• Are studying marketing, communications, or media

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
