Role Overview

We are seeking a Community & Brand Engagement Manager to lead:

  • Social growth strategy
  • Parent community engagement
  • Influencer and PR outreach
  • Content planning and storytelling
  • Brand collaborations

You will be responsible for helping position ManuKind as a trusted and respected brand in the parenting space.

This is a high-ownership role with room to grow into a senior brand leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a monthly content strategy aligned with brand positioning
  • Define content pillars (education, sustainability, ingredient transparency, parenting support)
  • Plan engagement-driven content (Reels, short-form video, stories)
  • Manage a structured content calendar
  • Track and optimize engagement metrics monthly

Community Building

  • Manage DMs and comment engagement in a warm, trust-first tone
  • Create conversation-driven posts (Q&A, discussions, polls)
  • Encourage user-generated content and testimonials
  • Build and manage a brand ambassador program

Content Direction

  • Write strong hooks, captions, and short-form scripts
  • Collaborate with designers and creators
  • Identify relevant trends appropriate for the baby and wellness niche
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging

Influencer & PR Outreach

  • Identify and contact parenting influencers and creators
  • Manage product gifting campaigns
  • Build relationships with parenting blogs and complementary brands
  • Support media outreach and brand storytelling efforts

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track engagement rate, saves, shares, reach, and community growth
  • Provide monthly performance reports
  • Propose strategic improvements based on data

Qualifications

  • Experience growing a DTC brand (baby, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok growth mechanics
  • Experience with influencer marketing and outreach
  • Excellent writing skills with a trust-based tone
  • Demonstrated ability to increase engagement, not just followers
  • Self-driven and comfortable operating in a startup environment
  • Confident in proactive outreach and communication

This Role Is Not

  • A simple content scheduling role
  • A graphic design-only position
  • A passive social media coordinator role

We are looking for someone who can build community, drive engagement, and contribute to brand growth strategy.

Compensation

Competitive and based on experience.
Performance-based incentives may be included based on engagement and growth milestones.
