About Marine Concepts

Marine Concepts is a growing enthusiast brand in the marine aftermarket space. We specialize in innovative boat covers and are expanding into other products across the marine category. Originating out of Lake of the Ozarks, we’ve spent the last two years scaling the brand and product into new markets across the country. Our differentiated products, loyal customer base, and exceptional performance have driven rapid growth. As we continue to expand nationally, we aim to maintain our reputation for quality and innovation while exploring opportunities to broaden our product portfolio.

We recently acquired Coastline Boatlift Covers, based in Fort Myers, Florida. Coastline is the leading provider of boat lift canopies across southwest Florida. M&A will continue to be a core part of our strategy. As we add more brands to the platform over time, and this role will grow in scope, influence, and impact.

Partnering with Marine Concepts is Kanbrick, a long-term investment partnership dedicated to helping businesses reach their full potential.

About the Role

We need an AI-enabled marketer who wants to own marketing across Marine Concepts and our recently acquired brand, Coastline Boatlift Covers—and who’s excited about the fact that there will be more brands coming as we continue to acquire. This isn’t a “sit in meetings and manage an agency” job. You’ll be the one doing the work: writing content, building pages, running campaigns, shooting photos, pulling reports, and figuring out what’s working and what isn’t. AI is the tool that makes one person capable of doing what used to take a team.

The difference-maker for this role is AI. We expect you to use tools like Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Midjourney, and others every single day to move faster and produce more than anyone thought one person could. If you’re already using AI in your marketing work and it feels like a superpower, this role was written for you.

We’re open to someone earlier in their career—even 1–2 years of experience—if you can show us what you’ve built and prove you’re the kind of person who figures things out without being told what to do. You’ll get real coaching from leadership and a shot at growing your career fast as the company scales. We are looking for an ambitious and talented team member that wants to leverage AI to catapult their career.

What You’ll Own

AI-Driven Content, Photography & Brand

  • Own the AI-driven blog and content strategy across both brands. Use Claude, ChatGPT, and SEO tools to research, draft, optimize, and publish at a pace that would normally require a full content team.
  • Create social content that people actually want to engage with: reels, carousels, short videos. Use AI for ideation, copy, and image generation.
  • Build and manage email campaigns with AI-powered personalization, testing, and automation.
  • Plan and execute photoshoots—product shots, lifestyle images, dealer features, social content. You’ll coordinate the shoot and be comfortable behind the camera.
  • Build and update website pages, landing pages, and widgets using AI coding tools like Claude Code. No engineering team needed.
  • Own the brand voice and visual identity for Marine Concepts and Coastline Boatlift Covers. Keep it consistent everywhere—website, social, dealer materials, email.

Reviews, Social & Community

  • Elevate our reviews program—drive customer reviews on Google, social platforms, and marine-specific sites. Use AI to monitor sentiment and respond quickly.
  • Run the social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. Focus on engagement and community, not just posting for the sake of it.
  • Find and engage with boating communities, forums, and influencers to get the brand in front of new audiences.

Paid Media & Performance

  • Audit and optimize paid media across Google Ads, Meta, and other channels. Know where the money is going and whether it’s working.
  • Track marketing KPIs rigorously. Build dashboards and reports that give leadership a clear picture of what’s driving results—and what isn’t.
  • Run A/B tests on creative, copy, and targeting. Use AI to speed up the testing cycle so we learn faster.
  • Be fluent in core marketing metrics—CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, attribution. You should be able to talk about performance with the same confidence you talk about creative.

CRM & HubSpot

  • Own HubSpot—keep contact and deal data clean, build and optimize pipelines, and make sure the CRM is useful (not just a data dump).
  • Build automated workflows for lead nurturing, deal progression, onboarding, and re-engagement.
  • Create dashboards and reports that show pipeline health, marketing attribution, and customer lifecycle metrics.
  • Manage lead scoring and segmentation so sales gets qualified leads, not noise.
  • Integrate HubSpot with the rest of the marketing stack—email, ads, social, website forms—and use AI to automate data enrichment, personalize outreach, and surface insights from CRM data.

Dealer Partnerships & Market Development

  • Work with our national dealer network to drive lead volume market by market. Provide co-branded content, campaign playbooks, and hands-on support.
  • Gather dealer feedback and market intelligence to shape positioning and campaigns.
  • Develop market-specific promotions and campaigns to support dealer sell-through where it matters most.

Strategy & Planning

  • Work with leadership to set marketing strategy and turn it into a plan with real timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain an annual marketing calendar across all channels and both brands.
  • Run competitive research using AI tools—analyze what competitors are doing, spot gaps, and move on them.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of AI marketing tools. The landscape changes every month. Keep us ahead of it.

AI Tools & Workflows

  • Claude / Claude Code — content, website builds, data analysis, automations
  • ChatGPT / Perplexity — research, brainstorming, drafts
  • Midjourney / DALL-E — social graphics, ad creative, product imagery
  • AI video & photo tools (Runway, CapCut, Lightroom, Canva) — content production
  • HubSpot CRM — pipeline management, workflows, lead scoring, reporting, email
  • Google Analytics, ad platform dashboards — performance tracking

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 1–5 years of marketing experience (consumer products, DTC, or agency). We care more about what you can do with AI than how many years you’ve been at it.
  • Daily, demonstrated use of AI tools in your work. Bring a portfolio or examples—show us what you’ve built, not just what you’ve managed.
  • Ability to use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit) to build web pages, widgets, or automations without waiting for a developer.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing: SEO, SEM, social, email, content. The fundamentals still matter.
  • Fluency in marketing metrics and analytics. You should know your way around CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, and attribution models—and be comfortable using data to make decisions, not just report on them.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or a similar platform—building workflows, managing pipelines, creating reports, running email campaigns. HubSpot certification is a plus.
  • Strong writing skills. AI makes good writers faster. It doesn’t make bad writers good.
  • Comfort with analytics platforms like Google Analytics and ad dashboards.
  • The kind of person who sees something that needs doing and does it. We don’t have time for people who wait to be told.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in the marine/boating or with other outdoor enthusiast brands
  • Photography skills and experience planning or executing product/lifestyle photoshoots.
  • Video editing and production chops (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma).
  • Experience with event or trade show marketing in the marine or outdoor space.
  • Experience managing or auditing paid media budgets.
  • Experience with marketing analytics and attribution modeling.
  • A genuine interest in boating, the outdoors, or enthusiast brands. It helps if you actually care about the products.

Who You Are

  • Entrepreneurial. You don’t wait for a playbook—you write one. You see opportunity and you go after it.
  • A builder, not a maintainer. You’d rather ship something good today than spend two weeks perfecting something nobody asked for.
  • Ambitious. You want this role to be the start of something big, not a placeholder.
  • Coachable. You want feedback and you use it. You’re not precious about your ideas.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and you’re expected to figure it out.
  • A clear communicator who can work with leadership, dealers, and external partners without needing hand-holding.
  • Genuinely excited about what AI makes possible in marketing right now.

Why This Role
