Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and the Director of Commercial Services, this role supports marketing for transient leisure audiences. You will handle day-to-day tasks and make sure brand messaging is consistent across all guest channels. This role helps with content, digital marketing, and planning to keep things running smoothly. You'll also work with reservations and operations to make sure leisure guests and travel advisors get great service.
Responsibilities
- Content & Social: Manage organic and paid social media. Plan content, engage with the community, and help with videography or photography.
- Reputation Management: Answer all online guest reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, Expedia, and social media.
- Creative Support: Work with hotel departments (F&B, Spa) on menus, signage, and other creative needs.
- Web & Digital: Edit and manage both property websites. Work with digital and PR agencies to track ads and messaging.
- Events & Influencers: Help with media stays, social influencers, and site tours. Support "fam" events for travel agents and media.
- Strategy & Admin: Monitor market trends and guest feedback. Help with billing, office tasks, and keeping project timelines organized.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00. This is the pay for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.
Anticipated start date for this position is March 9th.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least one year as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role in an agency or hospitality group.
- Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator) and Canva.
- Mindset: Must be organized, task-oriented, and have a good eye for design.
- Bonus Points: Experience with social media, admin work, or videography/photography.
- Schedule: This is an on-site role (Monday – Friday) but needs flexibility for evenings and weekends. This is a seasonal spot with a chance to stay on after six months.
