Position Summary: The Regional Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that builds the KSB brand, drives growth, and positions KSB as a leader in the industry for success. This role leads a marketing team responsible for delivering strong marketing fundamentals, including sales support and customer-facing events, while also building the strategic side of marketing with a data- and business-driven mindset. Key focus areas include market research, digital marketing strategy, and building a strong, cohesive brand presence in the market. The role ensures alignment across all market segments in North America. The ideal candidate brings an engaging personality with strong people skills that inspire others. Marketing is a critical part of KSB North America’s growth strategy, and this role is responsible for developing marketing as a true driver of business results by providing clear vision and direction. The role leads team performance and development while delivering measurable business impact in a challenging industry. Duties/Responsibilities:* Develop and implement a brand and marketing strategy for the North American market that can be applied and scaled across all market segments in the North America region.

  • Build and implement ongoing market research and track competitors’ activities to support business decisions, and define effective marketing strategies and focus areas grounded in data and evidence.
  • Build a strong and objective-supporting brand identity and visual appearance in the market that drives recognition and supports growth strategies.
  • Prioritize marketing projects in alignment with market segment leads, ensure clarity on priorities and direction, and guide the team in executing the roadmap and enablement activities.
  • Build out the digital landscape, including website, social (specifically LinkedIn), and digital campaigns across all market areas, with success tracking tied back to marketing and business strategy.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives in marketing, including marketing automation, CRM integration, and adoption of new marketing technologies to enhance efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, partners, and media, and actively develop and manage a network that enhances brand visibility, thought leadership, and market credibility.
  • Maintain a strong focus on team development, performance, and empowerment through coaching, mentoring, and creating opportunities for skill growth, accountability, and professional development.
  • Design the marketing operating budget with the team based on business priorities and early planning and alignment, including ongoing review and budget allocation.
  • Build and implement key marketing metrics and a data-driven success framework, monitor performance of all marketing activities, and optimize or pivot execution as needed with the team.
  • Lead the strategic planning of customer-facing and industry events, defining presence, targets and outcomes, success metrics, and the use of event insights and data to continuously refine marketing strategy.

Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field, advanced degrees or certifications are a plus

  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, with exceptional leadership and team development skills
  • Hands-on experience with core marketing fundamentals such as sales enablement and customer events
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, campaigns, website projects, and relevant tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CMS platforms (HubSpot, CoreMedia, Canto, Marketo, or others)
  • Experience in market research and data-driven marketing projects
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization
  • Confidence to make difficult decisions and have difficult conversations
  • Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
