<Job Overview> Hiring: Content & Social Media Manager for Faith & Business Brand

I’m Thomas Richards, franchisor of Fat Angelo’s Pizzeria. By the grace of Jesus Christ, I took one failing pizza shop to 14+ locations, multiple other pizza brands and restaurant, a market, a personal care home, ~100 rental doors, house flips, and partnerships in other local businesses. I’ve been clean and sober for 21+ years, and I give all the credit to Jesus.

I’m building a public brand around faith, Main Street entrepreneurship, and sobriety—and I need someone to help me tell that story online.

Your role:

  • Turn my bullet points, voice notes, and rough ideas into Instagram posts, captions, and short‑form video scripts.
  • Manage a simple weekly content calendar (mainly Instagram; some cross‑posting).
  • Edit short vertical videos from clips we record in shops, properties, and meetings.
  • Post consistently, track basic performance, and suggest what’s working.
  • Protect my voice: direct, honest, Jesus‑first, no flexing, no fake stuff.

You might be a fit if:

  • You’re strong at writing captions that sound like a real person, not corporate.
  • You know Instagram/TikTok basics (hooks, reels, carousels, thumbnails).
  • You’re comfortable with faith‑forward content centered on Jesus Christ.
  • You like real businesses: pizza shops, rentals, flips, towing, care homes, etc.
  • You’re organized enough to keep a simple content calendar moving every week.

Nice-to-haves (not required but a plus):

  • You can occasionally film in person in western PA.
  • You’ve managed content for a local business, church, or entrepreneur before.
  • You have examples of reels/posts you’ve made that performed well.

Time & pay:

  • Part‑time, ongoing (start with 5–10 hours/week and grow from there). For the 1st week unless you can prove yourself quickly.
  • Pay based on experience; include your rate and links to your work when you apply. I’m all for setting benchmarks with bonuses. I’m looking for someone to grow and expand with.

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Social Media Manager and Content Creator to lead our social media presence, develop innovative content, and build meaningful relationships with our online community. <Responsibilities>

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create high-quality, visually appealing content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Manage daily social media activities using platforms such as Hootsuite and Buffer to schedule posts, monitor performance, and optimize campaigns.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and competitor activity; leverage insights to refine content strategies.
  • Implement SEO best practices by conducting keyword research to enhance content discoverability and improve search engine rankings.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising and other platforms to maximize reach and conversions.
  • Analyze web analytics with Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness; prepare reports to inform future strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, media outlets, and partners through proactive relationship management and public relations efforts.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing; ensure messaging aligns with branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support branding initiatives, product launches, e-commerce promotions, and special campaigns.

<Experience>

  • Proven experience in social media marketing or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Expertise in content creation including graphic design, video editing, photography, and storytelling tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and analytics tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, web analytics (Google Analytics), and social listening tools.
  • Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite applications like Photoshop and Illustrator for designing engaging visuals.
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads Manager or similar platforms.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail; ability to craft clear, compelling messages that resonate with target audiences.
