The World Foosball Tour (WFT) is building the next era of competitive foosball. We produce large-scale professional tournaments across the United States and internationally, with growing media reach, sponsorship opportunities, and live broadcast production. We are a fast-moving, ambitious organization that is elevating the sport and building a long-term global brand.
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-level Marketing Manager / Social Media Director to take full ownership of WFT’s public image and digital growth strategy. This is a leadership role. The right candidate will control how the World Foosball Tour looks, feels, and communicates across all platforms including:• Instagram
- TikTok
- YouTube
- X
- Email marketing
- Website marketing funnels
This individual will be responsible for strategy, content planning, execution, and growth. They will work directly with WFT leadership and coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and event staff.This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone capable of independently running a growing sports brand’s digital presence.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy
- Own the voice, image, and branding consistency of WFT
- Schedule and manage all platform posting 2 weeks out
- Create and edit video content
- Create graphic content when needed
- Coordinate and manage freelance video editors and designers
- Build marketing funnels to drive ticket sales, registrations, sponsorship sales, and merchandise
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize growth
- Travel to WFT tournaments to capture and publish live content
- Work alongside the WFT team in person in Lexington
- Maintain professionalism and strong energy in all public interactions
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience growing social media accounts or brands
- Strong video editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
- Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva Pro, etc.)
- Deep understanding of short-form content strategy
- Experience building sales funnels and marketing campaigns
- Understanding of paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive energy
- References and portfolio of previous workPreferred Skills• Experience in sports marketing
- Experience in live event marketing
- Familiarity with streaming software (OBS, broadcast production environments)
- Experience managing influencer or sponsorship campaigns
- Understanding of community building and niche markets
Travel & Culture Fit
This role requires travel to 4 U.S. tournaments per year and 1 European event. All travel expenses are covered.We are not looking to fill this position quickly.
We are looking for the right person. This individual must bring strong energy, professionalism, excitement for sports or niche competitive games, and be someone who can represent the World Foosball Tour at a high level. They must be someone we trust to manage the image of the organization publicly.
Compensation Structure
This is a contractor position (1099).
Base compensation starts at $60,000 per year and is negotiable depending on experience and value brought to the organization. Performance bonuses and long-term growth opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
