Grow Queen is a fast-growing organic plant care company focused on premium soils, fertilizers, and sustainable indoor gardening solutions. We’re looking for a plant-obsessed Social Media Manager who understands how great content builds real community, trust, and sales.

We are currently in the final stages of opening a brick-and-mortar location at our headquarters in Northwest Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood, creating an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to help document and grow a brand during a major expansion phase.

This role begins with ownership of our social media presence and has a clear pathway into a larger marketing or sales role as the company continues to scale.

Role Overview

You will own Grow Queen’s day-to-day social media execution and growth, primarily focused on TikTok Shop and Instagram, while supporting YouTube short-form content and light LinkedIn brand presence.

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who understands consistency, posting cadence, and creator collaboration — not just high-level strategy.

Primary ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management

  • Own and manage TikTok Shop and Instagram
  • Post 5–7 days per week, cross-posting and adapting content across platforms
  • Work within defined time expectations per post
  • Optimize captions, hooks, and formatting for each platform
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and aesthetic

Content & Platform Growth

  • Manage publishing across:
  • TikTok
  • Instagram Reels & posts
  • YouTube Shorts and mid-length content (secondary)
  • Occasional LinkedIn posts
  • Track performance and refine content based on engagement and conversions
  • Stay current with trends in plant and indoor gardening communities

Creator & Community Engagement

  • Engage daily with creators and followers
  • Build relationships with plant influencers and affiliates
  • Manage comments, DMs, and community interaction
  • Coordinate product review and creator seeding campaigns

TikTok Shop & Affiliate Management

  • Recruit and manage TikTok Shop affiliates
  • Support creator onboarding and education
  • Help run campaigns that drive measurable sales growth

Growth Opportunity

  • Brand partnerships and campaign leadership
  • Wholesale outreach or sales development

Compensation & Hours

  • $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience
  • Minimum 20 hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours
  • Expanded hours available for candidates willing to take on additional marketing, content, or sales-related responsibilities
  • Commission and performance bonus opportunities

Qualifications

  • Strong interest or experience in houseplants / indoor gardening
  • Deep familiarity with TikTok and Instagram platforms
  • Comfortable working within posting timelines and content schedules
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, self-directed, and reliable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment

Bonus Experience

  • TikTok Shop or affiliate program management
  • Ecommerce or Shopify brand experience
  • Video editing and short-form content production
  • Creator partnerships or influencer outreach
  • Sales or wholesale experience
