Who We Are
Verily is a subsidiary of Alphabet that is using a data-driven approach to change the way people manage their health and the way healthcare is delivered. Launched from Google X in 2015, our purpose is to bring the promise of precision health to everyone, every day. We are focused on generating and activating data from a variety of sources, including clinical, social, behavioral and the real world, to arrive at the best solutions for a person based on a comprehensive view of the evidence. Our unique expertise and capabilities in technology, data science and healthcare enable the entire healthcare ecosystem to drive better health outcomes. Description Verily Me is a newly launched consumer health app designed to be a personal, private companion that helps members manage their health. By bridging the gaps in care through personalized recommendations from licensed clinicians and AI-enabled tools like Violet, Verily Me aims to bring the promise of precision health to everyone, every day. The Role:
We are seeking a Director of Marketing to develop and drive Verily Me marketing strategies, plans and investments. You will be responsible for winning the hearts and minds of savvy consumers who have high expectations and a deep need to understand and take control of their day-to-day health. You will know the brand and product inside and out—from our care programs (including the Lightpath program) to additional Verily Me features like participating in the Lifelong Health Study to further clinical research—and synthesize audience needs into focused creative strategies. In this highly collaborative role, you will lead the development of tightly integrated go-to-market (GTM) strategies, driving innovative approaches to building the Verily Me brand and ensuring we deliver on Verily’s awareness and engagement goals. Responsibilities* Lead the "Verily Me" marketing roadmap, identifying "big bet" content strategies and program mixes to meet brand and business goals.
- Act as the lead orchestrator across product, creative, PR, and media teams to ensure a seamless brand experience and cohesive execution.
- Synthesize deep user insights regarding health data fragmentation into actionable creative briefs that demonstrate clear product utility.
- Pitch and manage relationships with external health partners and patient advocacy groups like the AHA and DPAC.
- Partner with Performance Marketing to analyze metrics and optimize the investment mix across the funnel to meet acquisition cost targets.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications* Proven ability to transform complex audience data and "health anxiety" insights into clear, actionable marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in breaking down silos between creative, media, and product teams to launch integrated campaigns.
- Ability to quickly learn and evangelize technical features, including AI companions, meal tracking, and care management programs.
- Experience utilizing performance data to pivot strategies, optimize media spend, and drive product adoption.
- Exceptional ability to pitch brand visions to internal leadership for budget alignment and to external partners for trust-building.
Preferred Qualifications* Experience marketing complex health features such as cardiometabolic care management or lifelong health studies.
- Deep knowledge of driving cohesive social, influencer, and PR strategies in partnership with external agencies.
- Strong background in ensuring all creative assets reflect a mission-driven focus on data safety and user empowerment.
- Proficiency in balancing top-of-funnel awareness investments with bottom-of-funnel acquisition objectives.
- Ability to rapidly iterate on messaging and creative assets based on real-time social engagement and product usage data.
