Overview Summary:

The Social Media Marketing Manager position is an in-house, full-time position. We are hiring a strategic and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to lead social presence, content strategy, influencer partnerships, and paid social performance across our brand portfolio—including Bed|Stu, Roan, our Tanger outlet store, and potential new brand launches. You will drive platform growth, storytelling, creator engagement, and measurable digital impact across social channels—especially Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.

Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and own the multi-brand social strategy—tailored for different brand voices and target audiences.
  • Manage and maintain a forward-looking content calendar across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Retail, and E-Commerce teams to align messaging.
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, freelancers, or interns.

Content Direction & Creation:

  • Work with Creative and Brand Director and collaborate to provide direction and execution of social-first photography and short-form video content.
  • Collaborate with photographer and designer on daily/weekly content production.
  • Write stories, captions and contribute to scripting/editing video content.
  • Plan and launch YouTube channels with content strategy and upload cadence.

Influencer & Creator Program Management:

  • Develop and manage influencer and creator partnerships aligned with each brand.
  • Oversee product seeding, paid partnerships, and performance tracking.
  • Build a network of creators across lifestyle, sustainability, and military sectors when new brand is launched.

Ad Spend & Social Performance:

  • Plan and optimize paid social media campaigns (Meta, YouTube, Retailer platforms – Nordstrom, TikTok Shop, etc.)
  • Monitor budgets, ROAS, CPM, and conversions.
  • Report on performance: engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions

Brand Stewardship:

  • Maintain and evolve brand voices across Bed|Stu, Roan, and upcoming new brand.
  • Ensure content supports product launches and pricing strategy.
  • Uphold brand values across all storytelling and creative output.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree or higher is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • 3-5+ years in social media and content marketing for consumer brands.
  • Strong creative direction and video content production skills.
  • Experience managing influencer programs and paid social performance.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Suite, TikTok Tools, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and visual storytelling ability.
  • Bonus: Experience with Fashion, Made in USA, or heritage/lifestyle brands.
