Position Summary: The Sr Director of Marketing at Fox Factory is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing an integrated marketing strategy that fuels growth, elevates the brand, and strengthens Fox Factory’s leadership position across the automotive, off-road, and performance aftermarket. This role provides enterprise-level oversight of brand, digital, content, PR, field marketing, events, and athlete and influencer programs, while serving as a visible brand ambassador at industry events, dealer engagements, and key activations. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Creative teams, the Senior Director ensures consistent brand standards, compelling storytelling, and disciplined execution across all channels and markets. As a people-first, results-driven leader, the Senior Director of Marketing builds and develops a high-performing team, owns the integrated marketing calendar and budget, and drives measurable impact through data-driven decision-making and strong financial accountability. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership, overseeing major launches, events, partnerships, and vendor relationships while maximizing ROI and market relevance. Position Responsibilities:* Provide strategic leadership and enterprise-level oversight across all marketing disciplines, including brand, digital, content, PR, field marketing, events, and athlete and influencer programs, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and brand standards.   • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing organization, directly managing senior marketing leaders and partnering closely with Creative Services, Promotions, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated execution. Relevance: People leadership, org design, cross-functional influence
  • Own the integrated marketing calendar and operating rhythm, driving disciplined planning, prioritization, and execution across campaigns, product launches, events, activations, and dealer initiatives. Relevance: Operational leadership, prioritization, execution discipline
  • Serve as a senior brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, trade shows, dealer engagements, and media opportunities to strengthen brand credibility, visibility, and leadership in the automotive and off-road aftermarket space.   • Establish and oversee strategic influencer, athlete, media, and industry partnerships, including program strategy, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and alignment to brand and commercial objectives. Relevance: Strategic partnerships, commercial alignment, contract authority
  • Oversee the creation and execution of compelling, performance-driven content across all channels, including PR, editorial, digital, social, product storytelling, and sales enablement. Relevance: Multi-channel ownership, message control, revenue enablement
  • Drive field and event marketing effectiveness, maximizing brand presence, engagement, and revenue impact at shows, activations, and dealer events through consistent execution and measurement. Relevance: Revenue impact, field enablement, ROI focus
  • Ensure brand consistency while enabling market-specific execution, balancing centralized brand governance with localized messaging to support diverse customer, dealer, and regional needs. Relevance: Brand governance at scale, decentralized execution
  • Own marketing budget strategy and financial accountability, including forecasting, ROI analysis, cost control, and investment prioritization to maximize impact and efficiency. Relevance: P&L-adjacent ownership, financial rigor
  • Lead vendor and agency strategy, including partner selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and long-term relationship development. Relevance: External resource governance, cost and performance control
  • Partner with marketing leadership and executive stakeholders to develop and refine programs, providing strategic direction, resource alignment, and accountability to ensure initiatives deliver business results.

Skills, Qualifications & Core Competencies:* Proven marketing leader with experience leading cross-functional teams across brand, digital, product marketing, and sales enablement within automotive or automotive aftermarket environments.

  • Strong strategic and execution capability, translating brand and growth objectives into clear go-to-market plans, campaigns, and programs that deliver measurable results.
  • Results-driven and highly organized, effectively managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments while maintaining accountability for brand standards, timelines, and budget performance.
  • Experienced in leading major marketing initiatives, including product launches, integrated campaigns, dealer programs, and brand initiatives, with clear ownership and defined outcomes.
  • Data-driven and analytical, leveraging customer insights, market data, and performance metrics to inform decisions, optimize marketing investment, and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Strong sense of accountability and follow-through, ensuring commitments are met, issues are addressed promptly, and results are sustained across teams and partners.
  • Effective communicator and influencer, capable of aligning executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners around marketing priorities and brand strategy.

Education & Experience* Bachelor’s degree preferred; a combination of education and equivalent professional experience will be considered. Advanced degree a plus.

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including ownership of a marketing function and proven success leading teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong interest in powered on-road and off-road sports (e.g., snowmobiles, side-by-sides, motorcycles, performance trucks), with a genuine passion for enthusiast-driven brands and communities, highly preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:* Work Environment: Hybrid role spanning office, production facility, and field environments, including time at manufacturing locations, marketing activations, dealer events, trade shows, and roadshows.

  • Travel Requirements: Regular domestic travel required to support events, activations, production facilities, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Physical & Sensory Requirements: Ability to work for extended periods across office and field settings, including standing, walking, and sitting as required. Visual acuity needed to review, analyze, and enter information using computers and mobile devices.
