Director of Brand, Marketing & Design
Position Summary
The Director of Brand, Marketing & Design will lead Bagjump’s global branding, marketing, and creative design strategies, aligning brand identity with market objectives. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role that combines creative vision, design expertise, and analytical insight to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and market growth across multiple sports industries (Gymnastics, Adventure Parks, Snow, Bike, FMX, and more).
The role requires a T-shaped marketer with broad digital marketing capabilities and deep expertise in B2B lead generation. The role includes ownership of the company’s ongoing CRM and marketing automation migration from Salesforce to Zoho, ensuring a smooth transition and full adoption. A core requirement is self-directed autonomy. The successful candidate will proactively identify opportunities, initiate projects, and drive them to completion without requiring constant direction or approval. They will operate as an independent leader who takes ownership of the full marketing, brand, and design function, managing external contractors and agencies to achieve the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Identity & Strategy
- Define, evolve, and safeguard Bagjump’s global brand identity, positioning, voice, and visual language across all touchpoints.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive brand guidelines internally and with external partners, ensuring cohesive and consistent brand presentation worldwide.
- Build emotional connections with target audiences through compelling storytelling, impactful campaigns, and authentic brand experiences.
- Lead brand audits and competitive positioning analysis to continuously strengthen Bagjump’s market identity.
- Own the brand architecture, ensuring alignment across product lines, sub-brands, and co-branding partnerships.

Design & Creative Direction
- Oversee all creative and design output, including visual branding elements, marketing collateral, digital assets, packaging, and trade show materials.
- Provide hands-on design leadership – creating or directing the creation of graphics, layouts, presentations, and multimedia content.
- Oversee and manage content creation and production across video, photography, and written content.
- Ensure a high standard of visual quality and design consistency across all customer-facing materials and platforms.
- Manage and art-direct external designers, agencies, and freelancers to deliver on brand vision.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to keep Bagjump’s visual identity fresh and competitive.
B2B Marketing & Lead Generation
- Drive the development, planning, execution, and optimization of digital B2B lead generation across multiple sports verticals.
- Implement strategic marketing plans with a strong focus on B2B activities, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn and Zoho Marketing Automation.
- Lead the ongoing CRM and marketing automation migration from Salesforce to Zoho, ensuring smooth transition, data integrity, team adoption, and full platform utilization.
- Create and manage lead generation campaigns; nurture leads through various channels to convert them into clients.
- Utilize marketing automation tools (Zoho ecosystem) to streamline marketing processes, optimize lead nurturing workflows, and improve conversion rates.
- Define and monitor campaign KPIs, determine ROI, and continuously optimize for maximized performance.
- Responsible for annual marketing budget planning and execution to maximize resource allocation.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.
- Direct and manage digital marketing efforts including website optimization, SEO/SEA, paid advertising, email/newsletter campaigns, social media strategy, and content marketing.
- Lead marketing campaigns for customer acquisition; coordinate from inception with internal and external stakeholders (sales teams, freelancers, service providers).
- Monitor market trends, analyze customer insights, and evaluate competitor activities to optimize marketing strategies and capture opportunities.
- Observe markets and identify, analyze, and evaluate trends for their relevance to the company’s development.
- Update and maintain the corporate website (bagjump.com), driving ongoing efforts to enhance content and engagement.
Social Media & Community Management
- Manage the corporate social media accounts with the goal of increasing brand awareness, expanding reach, and driving lead generation and customer loyalty.
- Develop and manage a network of athletes, influencers, ambassadors, and partnerships.
- Oversee community management across all social channels.
Trade Shows & Events
- Coordinate Bagjump’s participation in trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions, including planning, logistics, booth design, and attendee engagement.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of sales collateral, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and product datasheets.
Autonomous Leadership & Contractor Management
- Operate as a self-directed leader: proactively identify priorities, initiate projects, and drive them to completion without waiting for constant input or task assignment.
- Effectively manage and coordinate external contractors, freelancers, and agencies to ensure quality, alignment, and timely execution of all marketing, branding, and design initiatives.
- Provide clear creative briefs, direction, and feedback to external partners to maintain alignment with brand vision.
- Manage the marketing budget independently, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and initiatives.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and executive leadership teams to ensure marketing activities support broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials that support sales efforts and client conversion.
- Provide strategic marketing insights, campaign performance reports, analytics, and recommendations directly to the CEO and leadership team.
- Contribute to company-wide strategic planning and product launch initiatives.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
