Overview
Catherine Frandsen & Company, Inc. dba Max Mara and Weekend Max Mara is seeking a highly strategic, relationship-driven Event & Community Partnerships Manager to elevate in-store events, cultivate meaningful community partnerships, and drive new client acquisition for our luxury retail stores.
This role blends business development, client experience, team training, and marketing. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable forging partnerships with influential local brands and coaching store teams on elite-level client engagement and appointment generation.
*This role can either be part-time or full-time
Responsibilities
Community Partnerships & Events
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local businesses, organizations, influencers, and community leaders to co-host high-impact in-store events
- Create event concepts designed to drive new client acquisition, not just foot traffic
- Own event planning from ideation through execution and post-event follow-up
- Track ROI, new client capture, appointment bookings, and conversion from events
Client Engagement & Retention
- Partner with store leadership to implement client outreach strategies that increase repeat visits and long-term retention
- Train and coach store teams on:
- Clienteling best practices
- Outreach and follow-up
- Appointment creation and conversion
- Pre- and post-event client engagement
- Elevate service standards to align with a top-tier luxury experience
Training & Team Development
- Create simple, effective tools and scripts to support stylists and managers in client engagement
- Lead training sessions and workshops focused on relationship-building and business generation
- Act as a connector between marketing strategy and store execution
Marketing & Social Media Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing and social teams to promote events and partnerships
- Support content creation for events, client moments, and community activations
- Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and luxury positioning
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in events, partnerships, marketing, or luxury retail management
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic community relationships
- Strong understanding of clienteling, appointment selling, and retention strategies
- Exceptional communication skills — polished, confident, persuasive
- Strong social media and marketing sensibility (you understand what converts, not just what looks good)
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven
- Comfortable training, coaching, and holding teams accountable
- Passion for luxury, fashion, hospitality, or high-touch service environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $38.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
