Marketing and Sales Responsibilities:
- Manage annual marketing budget
- Creating, managing, and executing marketing & sales plans (individual and group sales in conjunction with box office), with the support of communications strategies and programs to achieve the Company’s annual revenue goals. Goal is to increase Transcendence visibility, donations, ticket sales and opportunities to increase overall revenue
- Work with Transcendence Leadership Team to define Business Model and Value Proposition to reach the mission of the organization
- Collaborates with the Creative Vision Director to make sure the brand of the company is upheld and maintained appropriately
- Oversee the comprehensive communications calendar for Transcendence
- Manage the placement of cash, trade, and promotional media spend
- Oversee marketing/advertising materials (i.e., TV/radio spots, social media content, graphic design, merchandise, website, and production photos/videos)
- Oversees box office team and graphic design team
- Optimization of Spektrix Patron Management, Box Office & CRM
- Leads the press and external communication strategy and plan (in conjunction with outside publicist)
- Develop and maintain a promotional strategy for key activations across all digital/social channels
- Create initiatives for increasing UGC (User Generated Content) that can then be used across all social channels to help expand brand reach
- Utilization of strong headlines and use of SEO URLs and keywords to help with organic search
- Identify influencers and engage via outreach programs relating to the mission of the organization
- Develop and maintain promotional relationships with local businesses, including wineries, the CVVB, and touring groups
- Manage distribution of marketing materials
- Manage marketing effectiveness tracking and analytics
- Develop and maintain benchmarks and reports on leading and lagging indicators to measure performance towards objectives; proactively solve for failed KPIs.
- Manage all media, analytics, and delivery of progress reports to the senior leadership team and to the board of directors upon request
Partnerships:
- Identify Target Businesses in the North Bay to form and maintain new partnerships Transcendence Theatre Company
- Establish measurable metrics and assess ROI on key events and new potential partnerships. Partnering with the Executive Director and other leadership roles to establish partnership strategies, processes, and procedures targeted to achieve sales objectives.
- Proactively seek, build, and cultivate business relationships with local, regional, national, and global corporate leaders and experiential marketing agencies focusing on the live entertainment sector.
- Proactively seek ways to partner and promote through the tourism sector.
- Attend community events, meetings and local gatherings to promote Transcendence brand
- Develop, present, and close new integrated partnerships to accomplish sales goals.
- Build and curate pitch materials for prospects.
- Move prospects efficiently through the sales pipeline, from initial outreach to contract execution, with appropriate and timely follow-up to close partnerships.
- Proactively manage prospect pipeline and creative outreach plan for potential partnership opportunities with regional, national, and international companies.
