About the job

ABOUT GOODR

We create and sell active eyewear for anyone. No Slip. No Bounce. All Polarized. All Fun. Interested in joining our team? Keep reading.

OUR VALUES: We have two core values: Fun & Authenticity.

  • FUN = Being sh*tty isn't fun. Agreed? Taking pride in your work, finding joy in being GREAT, and celebrating wins… and losses. Now, that's fun!
  • AUTHENTICITY = Focusing on being authentic over being liked. (Next-level guru stuff. Count it.)

Fun Fact: We do not allow email to be sent internally. Carrier pigeons only. JK, we use Slack.

AUTONOMY: We practice autonomy, empowerment, and accountability so that every team member can be in control of their own life.

  • HYBRID WORKING: This role is required to be in the Inglewood office every Tuesday and Thursday with the occasional third day thrown in.
  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: We have an all-company learning program so that we're constantly leveling up our skills.

SUSTAINABILITY: We think Earth's pretty rad. That's why we take action wherever possible to limit our impact on the planet.

  • 1% FOR THE PLANET MEMBER: 1% of goodr's annual sales go directly to environmental organizations.
  • CARBON NEUTRAL: In 2019, goodr became a 100% carbon neutral company.

Fun Fact: goodr celebrates every Earth Day by releasing limited-edition sunglasses with frames made from 100% recycled materials—and the packaging is 100% sustainable, too!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you look at a massive spreadsheet and see a beautiful sunset? Are you the type of person who treats customer data like a curated guest list for the most exclusive party in town? Of course you know that data isn't just numbers, it's the pulse of our flock, and translating that pulse into action is top of mind in all you do!

Did you read that book on "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" and immediately apply it to your computer's desktop? Or were you the one who taught your friends how to color-code their closets before "organization influencers" were even a thing? If you answered "Obvi" to both, you might be the Digital & Lifecycle Analyst we are looking for! A data-obsessed detective (in a good way) who loves connecting the dots between an Instagram ad, a click on our site, and a customer for life. You're here to find the magic in the metrics!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the treasure map of actionable insights across the e-commerce funnel with a primary focus on lifecycle and retention
  • Support awareness and acquisition measurement in partnership with Paid Media and Emerging Channels (Amazon, TikTok)
  • Analyze customer cohorts to identify growth and lifetime value opportunities based on product, timing, and behavior
  • Partner with Lifecycle, UI/UX, and Paid Media teams to evaluate performance across the full customer journey
  • Connect the dots from Paid Media to the onsite experience to lifecycle outcomes, focusing on conversion and repeat rate
  • Surface trends and anomalies in customer behavior, product performance, and funnel health
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Social Media and Sports Marketing & Partnerships teams to ensure a unified view of performance
  • Translate data into clear recommendations that tell the team what to do next, not just what happened
  • Lead experimentation and testing by defining successful KPIs and interpreting results
  • Build and maintain dashboards that stakeholders actually use in partnership with the Business Intelligence team
  • Actively explore and implement AI tools, solutions, and automations to drive analytical efficiency and deeper insights
  • Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our data and retention initiatives
  • No direct reports – you get to lead the category, without managing your fellow flamingos
  • This role is in the Digital Marketing department and will report directly to the Director of E-Commerce
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • May or may not have a degree...we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • 5+ years experience as a Digital & Lifecycle Analyst with a deep understanding of spreadsheets and SQL databases
  • Is a professional "Why?" asker who is never satisfied with just a number and always hunts for the story behind it
  • Familiarity with marketing measurement approaches like platform attribution, incrementality, MTA, MMM, and the ability to apply them pragmatically
  • Loves LIFECYCLES! Lives for RETENTION! Basically wants to marry DATA!
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools; Python is highly preferred
  • Can balance complex methodology with the speed of a fast-moving marketing team
  • Thinks in "Cohorts" and loves grouping people by their shopping habits to find growth opportunities
  • Is obsessed with tracking LTV stats
  • Has a genuine excitement for exploring and implementing AI tools and automated solutions to streamline workflows and uncover deeper insights
  • Navigates tools like Excel, Netsuite, Google Suite, and BI dashboards with total ease
  • Solid organizational skills including extreme attention to detail and elite multitasking
  • Strong comfort with advanced data modeling, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving
  • Turns boring numbers into "Aha!" moments that tell the team exactly what to do next
  • Loves the work more than a paycheck
  • Is happy to give away credit to their team
  • Loves getting and giving feedback
  • Is into personal growth
  • Thinks Fun is doing great work (not just partying)
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)

WHAT YOU GET

  • A role at a company that is going to the moon
  • The opportunity to show up every day and have fun
  • The ability to learn and grow as a person
  • Paid vacation (we encourage you to take time off!)
  • Flexible work environment (want to go for a run at 11am on Wednesday, go for it!)
  • Paycheck... obviously. Salary range: $100k-$115k, final offer will be made within this range based on experience
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • 401(K) with company matching
  • Financial Wellness Counseling
