Public Relations and Marketing Lead

We are looking for a high-energy, people-first professional to become the face of Crystal Ridge. If you’d rather shake hands at a local charity gala or host a packed tasting room than spend all day chasing an algorithm, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Your Mission

• Curate the Experience: Design and execute monthly "Anchor Events" at the distillery (think local maker markets, spirit-pairing dinners, and live acoustic sessions).
• Build the Network: Act as our primary liaison with local businesses, tourism boards, and civic organizations.
• Earned Media: Manage public relations by getting Crystal Ridge featured in local news, influencers, magazines, and lifestyle publications.
• Grassroots Outreach: Represent the distillery at off-site festivals and community gatherings.

Who You Are

• Storyteller: You can speak passionately about our distilling process and our history to a crowd of five or five hundred.
• PR Savvy: You understand that a well-placed article or a strong community partnership is worth more than a thousand "followers.

Experience

• Proven experience in public relations, marketing, journalism, or related fields
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging content following AP style guidelines
• Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements and media interactions
• Experience managing social media accounts and creating digital content
• Knowledge of media relations tactics and building professional relationships with journalists and influencers
• Background in research methods relevant to market analysis and audience insights
• Demonstrated ability to write press releases, speeches, and other professional communication materials
• Proofing documents for accuracy and professionalism
